Hey try to use this http://kill process
meanwhile depending on your OS disable services and probably do it manually; however I use regvacz to get rid off keys and ccleaner for startups etc. and then search manually.
I know that there is a software that finds everything that the .exe file is associated with but cant remember the name... hope this helps
I had ProxyFirewall (You're right, its a piece of crap), and used Revo Uninstaller to get rid of it. Cleaned everything out on the first pass. (I know, I went back and checked.)
Seriously, if not you need to kill PF services/processes (if any), delete its program file folder, appdata folder and all registry entry. RegMon, Filemon and Windows Search Function will help you.
Just try CCleaner,
It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your internet history. additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner.
It can complete remove unused program from windows registry.
i have used it several times, and it can complete remove unused program from your computer.
