Looking for resources to secure my email, phone, and private messaging between clients. Sensitive data gets transmitted and I'd hate for it to be compromised.

Anyone into privacy?

Just follow a set of good practices.
First: If you don't want it leaked, don't do it online.
Second: all services you use are spying on you. So there's no privacy left really.
For some reason someone thought linking a phone nr to your Gmail, Facebook and Whatsapp was a great idea.
Now when I meet someone and give them my phone, 2 hours later they're beeping me on Whatsap. I just ignore 99% of the noise.

What do you suggest then for online communication? Specifically email. I've found a few encrypted options but am wondering what's safest.

It's no use if your counterpart doesn't use it.
You gonna write prospective customers encrypted letters?
You gonna ask your girlfrield "hey install this encrypted shit before we chat"?
The reality is there is no privacy. Unless you work with secret stuff and everyone around you agrees on using that stuff, it won't work if only you use it.

Pgp/gpg for your emails and your phone - of course both parties have to have pgp/gpg for it to work.

PM on forum is quite safe. I sent very confidencial information several times via PM, I doubt James Comey can "tap" it. Don't let him know where you live or it will be leaked without the least hesitation.
