Greetings, just joined the forum and wanted to throw this out there—anyone here into Performance Sales same way like how performance marketing works?

Looking forward to connecting . What’s up everyone:D

Can you explain the two a bit more please?
Yes sure so just the same way you have performance marketing in the way that you pay per action for example CPL or different CPAs such as CPS, You only pay when there is a sale, eliminating risk. Now in the sales game You have SDRs for example who are mainly in charge of booking meetings. Companies take on risk hiring SDRs because they need to:
-train them
-pay them whether they hit their target or not
-risk time and money.
For example a salary of an SDR which has a target of 10 meetings to book might be around $3-4k/month that is 300 - 400 dollars per meeting if you calculate it differently. Now imagine only paying for an actual validated meeting via a performance sales affiliate platform where you link sales affiliates just as you would marketing affiliates and companies pay only for results and get to bid how much they are willing to pay for given actions such as meetings booked. Calls made. Emails Sent. Leads Generated etc

I'm technically in a performance marketing role, with a base salary - can jump into messages or have a chat here if there's any good questions floating about mate :)

I'm all for the learning too

Can you explain that a little bit more?
My Bro, this performance-based sales model could totally flip how companies build and scale their sales teams. The traditional SDR setup is a grind—tons of time and cash get sunk into hiring, training, and managing SDRs, with no guarantee they'll deliver. But by switching to a sales affiliate model, businesses can take the best stuff from performance marketing and apply it to sales, making the whole process way more efficient.
