Hi,

I read an e-book about arbitrage betting yesterday (never heard of it before) and I really was impressed that you can make money so easily without hardly any risk. Anyone here who has tried this (and knows the dangers) ?

I have extensive knowledge in volatility arbitrage, statistical arbitrage, options and futures trading, etc.

If you are interested in this please let me know.

Yes. Been a member of of arbitrage service or a while now and made some VERY easy cash...however...there are limitations:

- Time to place the right bet
- Limits imposed by betting company
- Odds Changing

PM me if you want to chat about them! :)

I have been a member of a site, and was making some good profits . Unfortunately I got a bit low on funds so ha to cash in my accounts.

If you had a few $1000 spare, you could make decent profits.

What do you bet on? Football, basketball? What about horse racing?

I also only came across this and am interested. Seems to good to be true. Surely there must be more people on here doing this?

I am one of them who do arbitrage betting. I am living proof that sports arbitrage is alive and kicking and people who get into sports arbitrage probably make more money than I would say 95% of the people here. I know I am going to get flamed for it. But it is a sad truth.

I used to do soccer the most but have shifted to horses. :)

-terms and conditions are different from company to company.
exampel tennis: if an player does w.o (gives up), an company pays as win the other not...also the margin is between 0.5%-1%, you can try betfair in combination with an offline place, good luck!

It is exactly because of these rules that professional arbi would never play tennis. You can however play arbs on soccer which is so much clearer.
Peter Webb is one person who trades on tennis matches. Nice guy and very humble.

5 year old thread. C'mon guys - look at the post dates.
