Lets be honest. You buy Ferrari for one reason only - to make your new status public. Veterans on top of the financial pyramid call that step 'getting out of the closet'.
The less smart among the fresheners get stuck at that status for too long. Others, quickly find out that its a pretty shitty car for any urban environment.
The black one on top. http://thehummerguy.com/?cat=3 This is my vehicle of choice. I want this so bad. People look at me like I lost my mind when I say that's the car I want.
VW owns Bugatti, Porsche, Bentley, Ducatti, Lamborghini, and are apparently the largest shareholder of Suzuki.
that car is BAD ASS , I want one of those hummers also!! since i was a kid.
Hey guys, Anyone in BHW owns a Ferrari?, I know it is a lot of hard work to get one. Either you had to be born rich or worked till your eyes fail.
I wouldn't buy a ferrari if I had the money, I see no reason to spend 100-300k on a car, you can get perfectly good car for 20 - 50 k, so why in the hell would I spend so much money on one. Lets not forget when some accident happens or your car brokes, even the simplest part for ferrari or other super car cost a fortune, because they are not mass production, while for mass production car you can get it with pennies
It's actually very relevant! A wise rich man will spend his money wisely and on much needed items only. I also don't think Bill Gates has a Ferrari to show off his immense wealth... even if he has one, he is not seen driving it often. Also, as one of the wealthiest man (has been THE wealthiest for years), he is spending his money very wisely, and doing charity a lot of times too. For him, I think, owning a Ferrari may not be the ultimate symbol of super-richdom. There are plenty of people on Earth like Bill Gates who are super rich, but they also know how to curb the urge of buying everything that their money can buy.People who can actually afford supercars don't give a shit about their new brakeset costing as much as new small family sedan, and thus this is not very relevant argument in the first place. And it's not like these are your everyday cars anyhow.
Bill Gates drives porsches, he loves them. They're also much more affordableIt's actually very relevant! A wise rich man will spend his money wisely and on much needed items only. My point is: every wise and rich man may think (wisely ofc) like manking, and stay away from the glitter, while common people would then point to how frugal and close-fisted he is. A wise and very rich person may also think that a new Ferrari brakeset is too expensive an item, or a car wash for his Ferrari is costing him too much, and thus may not buy the great car altogether. Nothing wrong in that mindset actually imo.
