Just curios if anyone else here is using either one of these drugs to keep themselves productive and sharp?

I've got a script for both and am just now starting to cycle back on adderall after taking a long break.

I forgot just how effective these drugs really are.

Curious to see what people's results are using this. Always wondered how it would be like :smirk:

Any setbacks using these drugs? Side effects?

if you have a day with a large workload or just need to get a lot done. its great, for productivity and getting shit done it is as close to the limitless drug as real life can get... at least for me:)

There were definitely side effects for me. which is why i had to cycle off for quite some time. Thats why i went and got a script for modafinil:)

Script for modafinil? I don't follow, care to elaborate?

a dr wrote me a perscription for these drugs. which means i "need" them to function correctly:p

I'm sure no one need these kind of drugs, we just need to work on ourself, for example it was recently proven that our thoughts can modify the neuroplasticity.

Drug is shit and will always betray you in a way or another.

Four years ago I was on a modafinil schedule for two weeks straight. I used it to tackle my afternoon laziness and be more productive at my work.

I would have a 50mg tablet and a cup of strong coffee before I leave for work. It starts to kick in after 20 - 30 minutes. I noticed visible changes in my focus and productivity. But there were side effects.

I would get irritated and angry at someone for no good reason. Couldn't get good sleep etc.

i used to take it as a kid from like 8yrs old to 17. stopped taking it when i turned 18 cause it made me a zombie and arely ate and was skinny as shit. But i took it again years later to get some school work done and study for tests and what not. i was able to study for 16 hours straight obviously i took more than one pill for those 16 hours and the last time i took it i drove from Phoenix,AZ to Montana 1700miles. for 26 hours straight XD so like OP its as close to the limitless drug you can get! but side affects are too much for me and dont let me be who i really am so i dont take them anymore and refuse too.

If I have to rely on an outside source to be productive or attain motivation then I put myself
in a state of reliance that will ultimately make me weaker in the long run. Therefore no/little caffeine,
sleeping pills, bad food, smoking, alcohol, drugs, and a limited amount of influences.

I'm not passing judgment though. Just the facts I have concluded in my own life. I do however indulge
in a power nap, vitamins, and mineralized water.

I assume all of you live in USA/Canada?

I would probably use it if it was legal in my country. No doctor would prescribe these either. Lucky you

I was a failure in life until I started taking adderall. I hacked my brain and became a productive worker overnight. The productivity boost was sustainable. And I definitely wasn't just imagining that I was working faster and better because I was on a stimulant.

Modafinil was great for me when I started, but I think it's more for productivity than focus - so it's still easy to get distracted while on it. For some reason overtime it started giving me anxiety, even though I was doing them only 2x a month and breaking them down into quarters. I was taking them with caffeine, so that could be the cause, but either way I never really saw increase in revenue while on them and I just stopped a few months ago.

I love Adderall for focusing on tasks that I don't want to do and don't want to outsource. I just don't want to rely on them too much (who knows what kind of long-term side effects they produce) so I only take them when I have a deadline coming up. I still have one laying around that I haven't touched for months, but will probably end up taking in the next few weeks. I also break them down into quarters with a cup of coffee to kick it up a notch.

If you really don't need these drugs (it's pretty easy to get a script if you know what you're doing), just eat good, exercise, sleep well, and keep your mind stimulated. It takes some time, but to me it's better and more productive than both of these drugs combined.
