I've recently watched a video on hypnotic and persuasive words to use when you want to grab the buyers attention. So far it seems compelling, it almost wants to make me want to buy the products I'm selling when I use it, lol. I just want to know if anyone has been doing the same and how it has affected you and your services. I'm still new to this so I'm always willing to learn.

I agree Jordan Belfort is a master speaker. I watched a few YouTube clips on some of his seminars and he has some good information. At the very least you'll walk away with some motivation.

Study NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Copywriting.

Once you get good at it, you can charm the knickers off a nun. :D

It's funny you both say that. Everyday I watch the wolf of wall street sales motivation and it gets me pumped. Never thought of taking a look at Jordan's actual seminars. Thank you both I'm about to check it out.

I still have NLP on my to do list lol. I've wanted to be able to use it since I read The Game. And never thought of looking into copywriting. Gonna check this out as well.

Look into seminars or books on pitch delivery and how to build an elevator pitch. This will be very beneficial because it is a very quick delivery of a product which you need to use to get anyones attention.

Thanks man. I'm on it. Hadn't even thought of that either. I'm gonna be going back to toast masters so I can practice my elevator pitch with an audience.

I got it from TPB Udemy video. It was called: UDEMY LEARN 20 POWERFUL HYPNOTIC WORDS FOR INFLUENCE AND PERSUASION TUTORIAL

    Thanks!!!!!!!!

I think some people just do that stuff naturally... and I suggest most IRL entrepreneurs are, by necessity, in that category.

I think speaking well is key to any level of success.

What's an IRL entrepreneur? I looked it up and it either said girl or ireland and I'm sure those aren't it. A thread on reddit came up but it was useless.

    That actually makes sense.
Because word in email or on sales page are the only thing to make the buyer buy the product!
I haven't actually focused on this part till now :D

True. I meant an entrepreneur that was a year younger than me making about 10-20k a month off of his own catering business. The drive he had was unreal. I need that, I want that. I got to have it. I'll hypnotize myself with NLP every single day until I have that mindset.

Natural language programming has to do with programming code I believe. NLP is the mind.

Try replacing the search operator with different words, like Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Damn, had no idea WizGiz was into NLP. That's awesome.

As far as persuasion goes, NLP is by far the best place to begin. I started reading, studying and using it 9 years ago when I got into the seduction community. It's one of the most powerful skillsets any copywriter, marketer or salesman can learn.

And let me tell you something, it's NOT EASY to learn by any means. I started practicing it in the seduction community while getting my degree for psych. What I thought I knew about NLP back then, compared to what I know now, it's a night and day difference. It's unbelievable how powerful it really is.

You gotta start with the book, "Frogs To Princes" by Richard Bandler.
    http://www.amazon.com/Frogs-into-Princes-Linguistic-Programming/dp/0911226192

Then read "The Unfair Advantage", it's a great book on selling with NLP.
    http://www.amazon.com/The-Unfair-Advantage-Sell-NLP-ebook/dp/B0083KGN4G

Then read "NLP For Dummies". I really should have recommend this first cause it explains NLP in such a clear, concise and scientific way. It will put all the pieces together for you. And you will go back to this book hundreds of times for reference.
    http://www.amazon.com/Neuro-linguistic-Programming-Dummies-Romilla-Ready/dp/0470665432

If you can only read 1 of the above, read the last.

And here's a good article that explains some of the basic strategies: http://blog.nlp-techniques.com/2010/06/17-of-the-worlds-most-powerful-written-persuasion-techniques/

The key thing to understand about NLP is that 7% of communication is done on a verbal level. While the other 93% is done on a NON-VERBAL level.

Most people think nonverbals only apply to body language. They don't realize that writing is FULL of nonverbal communication. How words are organized. How language is organized. Dropping anchors people don't notice. Or something as simple as learning to use alliterations in your writing.

I'm an alliteration junky. I try to drop them in a lot of my posts on here. Just to practice. My name is an alliteration. My business names are all alliterations. Alliterations are hypnotic. When you subtly season them in. Don't overdo, misuse or abuse them. You can mix in rhyming words like I just did. Another thing I do is reverse cliches. Maybe I'm writing something motivational, and I'm about to write.. "the world is in your hands". I'll replace "hands" for "pockets".

Why? It's a subtle pattern interrupt. As readers read the first 5 words they expect "hands" to follow. Instead they read "pockets". They don't even notice its "detuned". But they FEEL it subconsciously. It makes you're writing seem more original and less predictable. It keeps peoples eyes moving.

I also love rebuttals. Not just sales rebuttals but thought rebuttals. Presumptous hijacking. You have to hear your readers thoughts as you're writing. Certain claims you know people are gonna be thinking something specific, call it out to the front, reframe it. You don't do this just to lower resistance. You do it to gain control. And it's much more powerful to rebut things the reader would never expect. Like, "HOW THE FUCK did he know I was thinking that"? Those types of rebuttals are the most powerful. The obvious ones, not so much.

I may do a tutorial one day. Cause there's so many things I learned over the years that I never even read in any books.
