So, i discovered this website a few days back and what they are offering is quite logical. What they've written on their homepage is:

You Sign Up> You become a part of the network > You visit other people's websites mentioned in the network and spend some time there > In return, other people in the network do the same for your website

Some basic rules like, the more you watch other people's websites, the more they watch yours. (fair enough) and they aren't charging anything for it but what I think is a bit fishy, is this:

In order to earn 'Hits', i must do this:

Now, what I'm suspicious about is that when i install and run this on my machine, what kind of security issues will i end up facing? Apart from that, what kind of data can it probably track or steal while it's running on my system?

Also interested in this. I signed up with them some days ago but refused to download the software on my PC.

Waiting for more insights.

No, I haven't tried ... but thanks for sharing let me try this ..
aren't you concerned about how it may track some data or your activities after being installed on your PC? :)
That's the only reason why I'm not trying it out myself.

I think hitleap has been around for years now, the quality of their traffic should be expected as is, no guarantee for stick visits or followers...

I have tried it for a while but it was years ago, not sure if they have update to their software or terms...

Overall it was good enough but don't think I would stick around for it

Hi,
I tried it. No security problem, but it doesn't make what I need. I prefer Somiibo.

The best way to use this kind of soft is to use a VPS.

It's a very old website that I used when I started with Adsense in 2009
You use that on cheap VPS, not on your pc
so it runs 24/24 and no risk is involved

Everyone used hitleap one time in their life. It was very popular a few years ago to send traffic to sh*tty CPMs networks.

Nowadays, hitleap traffic is useless.

I use them exclusively to fool people nowadays

But you could do certain interesting things that actually work for SEO purposes, if you purchase a High subscription (~$12/mo)

And it is much more cheap than other alternatives (like mediabuying cheap PPC popads). If you focus organic, it's almost the same effective (considering that popads, just target better quality direct visits, and a huge % of bots that networks cannot manage well).

Yes, used it years back.
Not so much anymore, made some good money reffering ppls back in the days :D
