Hey guys, a friend told me about crypto staking the other day and I think I'll give it a go, Cake staking in PCS to be more specific. Anyone that has experience on it?

In my opinion the returns seem to good to be true but I'll give it a go :D
If anyone does it already feel free to post your opinion / returns %

staking has its risks. what if the value of your token goes down -50%. all those "free" tokens you earned via stake not worth much now. and vise versa.

2021 was all about yield farming. many pools were giving 10,000% APY. compare that to modern bank accounts that do 1% on your savings account.
my advice is withdraw your rewards every few hours. don't stay in too many days and pull all out before the whales do. because thats their whole strat. get into huge pools with huge bank rolls, make a ton of free money, and dump on everyone else when done. one can monitor those whales wallet addresses to get an idea of what their moves are.

unless you are a long term investor on serious projects with smaller apy pools. then just buy and hold.

^ this. 100% agree. 9 out of 10 projects fail in a few years

Yes, i stake my USDT (for 2% APY - which is laugh-worthy).
And I do flexible stalking(ie. i can pull out anytime).

Instead of keeping your funds idle on the crypto exchange, I prefer to stake it and earn few returns:)

I pay nearly 40% yearly fee for borrowing USDT from Binance :)

now there's platforms like celcius network where u can get 5-7% for letting them hold your coins
sometimes they make you lock-in your funds for 7-30-90 days for bonus apy %
seems beneficial for the type of person who wants to set & forget with no risk.

I'm staking some coins on Binance. Basically the coins are staked for 30, 60 or 90 days, and I earn about 10% interests per year. Not much, but better than HODLing.

Yes, on Pancakeswap but Market condition depends alot in having profits by staking
