What's been your experience with getting on Google discover.

I ask because I've got a new site that I'm working on in the carnivore niche and the sorts of post I'll be making will be perfectly suited for discover.

they do have experience buying website before however, it is pretty much a matter of luck. In my opinion, the most effective method is to write something original nd post high-quality pictures on time.

discover has seemed quite unpredictable to me particularly for new websites. the material posted could be a perfect match yet the challenge is acquiring that first bit of exposure which appears to rest heavily upon issues of trust, consistency nd user reaction.
 
I have never considered Google Discover... maybe I will follow up with you on this and see the kind of results you get out of it.

If the juice is worth the squeeze : )

Ye well my idea is to turn my YouTube videos into short form blog posts as well.

Because they'll be so short I doubt they'll rank for any competitive keywords but Google discover might gobble them up.

Google discover can bring a lot of traffic good content and useful topics can help your posts reach more people.
 
Wow, that's and out-of-the-way yet very promising niche. All I can say is, you won't have to work too much before being discovered by google discover. They love these kind of things. You will gain authority pretty fast plus ranking.

Discover can be a good opportunity, but I wouldn't build the site only around it. Google says Discover eligibility is automatic once pages are indexed and meet its policies, but appearing there isn't guaranteed, and traffic can be much more volatile than normal Search.

For a carnivore niche, I will focus on original, people first content, strong topical expertise, timely stories and a large quality images. Google sometime says these factors can improve Discover eligibility but there is no guaranteed way in.

Consistency and strong, relevant content seem to be key for Google Discover. I’ve seen good results from focusing on these areas.
 
Yes, it can bring a lot of traffic when the content and images match what people are interested in. Fresh topics and strong headlines seem to work well, but traffic can change a lot from post to post.
 
Yeah discover can be pretty random tbh. Good images + timely topics seem to make a big difference tho.
