Been so busy the couple of years that I gained about 20 pounds :( anyone here on a weight loss journey?

Yeah i am, currently 15.5 stone, trying to get back down to 13, plateaued at 15.5 atm though, can't seem to shake it, no matter how many cheeseburgerz i eat :)

lol just sitting for hours is making my tummy bigger :(

I lost 20 KGs within 8 month after starting lindy hop. Still maintaining it.

The best trick for weight loss is to just eat more meat and veggies and cut out wheat, rice, grains, sugars and processed foods.

Go on the paleo diet, or ketogenic diet.

My cousin went from 400lbs to 280 very quickly doing that. He's still losing weight every week.

You can lift or run all you want but if you're taking in the wrong foods your results will be slow and mediocre.

I am right now yes. I weighed myself the other day and weighed in at 14st, I'm around 5ft 7inchs so it's not an ideal weight. Next month I'm getting a gym built in my back garden and have started to diet.

One REALLY good method I've started is as follows: wake up and have a coffee, work a little bit, then exercise and shower. Around mid-day I'm having a bowl of porridge with different flavers and that fills me up until dinner.

Only problem I'm facing is at 8pm, that's when I'm making the wife a cuppa and get tempted to eat so will buy some health bars. My father told me to get some popcorn as it's not too bad. Perhaps I'll get some low fat yogurt tomorrow as well, it's all about moderation, not going cold turkey as that always fails (for me).

If I can only get paid to lose weight lol

Over the last few years I have put on a massive amount of weight, intend on changing that and sorting myself out asap.

I am, friend.

Due to antidepressants and calmants, I earned around 25 kg in two and a half years.
Now the med is removing them, and I am slowly losing weight again.

I gotta start working out again too, but I have no time :(

what's the primal blueprint?

You may find a ketogenic diet works pretty well. But the trick is not cheating. If you are going to cheat and eat excessive carbs, don't do keto at all.
If you want to gain muscle at the same time you lose fat - you can check out the FAQs on the ketogains reddit.

And it is easy and free to use myfitnesspal to plan meals and track your macros.

If you don't like meat, a book/video titled "Presto" by Penn Jillette may be helpful :)
