Anyone here making website for sell without knowing how to code?

I watch some videos on youtube (Darrel Wilson's videos). He bought a $100 website, but it likes the developer just installed the theme, spent 30 minutes work to customize it. I did not know that making money is that easy. I wonder is it possible to me to just create a Fiverr Gig and make money ? lol. Anyone on the Marketplace do the same thing?

WordPress is pretty much plug and play.

I have made many websites on there without knowing how to code.

Although I will say you can make a great site, but not an amazing one.

I am hopefully joining a coding bootcamp soon so I can craft amazing websites.

If you can provide a service that brings value to someone do it. Some people don't even know how to register a domain. Or make extremely simple edits.

Have confidence in the value that you can provide. There's a market for everything.
 
I do it now, I just use Wordpress its plug and play. Anything I don't know I google or watch youtube and resolve the problem.

I have learned HTML, CSS, a little bit Javascript, but just basic. I can understand the code but I cannot make a complete website at pro level. I thought to make money from web development at least you have to know how to build a complete website from scratch.
 
If you're new use wordpress and any basic builder platform. The way you get better is through experience so just keep building sites in your spare time until you have the confidence and knowledge to sell them :cool:

I'm not new to wordpress, I have built many websites on my own, but what I imagined is to sell web design service you have to have years of experience and can code a website from scratch, but it seems like I dont need that.

Sorry I must have misinterpreted your posts/replies, what exactly are you asking then?

If you can build websites from scratch, and have built many wordpress websites, then you just need to find the right buyers, which is where the real work begins haha.

building website from scratch for me means you can write your own css, php, html, and you can change the codes inside the theme, not just install theme, plugin then customize it.

I've been building and selling sites for a while now (Wordpress) both for businesses and just fun projects and don't waste time with the coding aspect of that. You don't need to know all of that in-depthly to "start from scratch". Obviously there is some things you need to know but not overly complex to be honest. I wouldn't focus too much on the gritty coding aspect of it.

My typical process is:
-Set up domain
-Set up hosting
-Install wordpress
-Build website
-Sell website

If you can bootstrap a viable and sustainable product that fits a consumers need then you can sell it.

Ok, If just that, I will create a Fiverr Gig and may BHW sell thread soon.

You are one then.most of the websites developed in WordPress are just basic blogs,most of the themes are premade and now are a lot of drag and drop builders for front end as well Plugins for customisation.

Only problem is when conflicts appear between them, then you are in trouble without a basic knowledge about php, dB and css at least.
 
Wordpress was developed for the use of people (writers) who wanted to make a blog without having to know anything about code.
Knowing how to code a website from scratch would make you a theme developer, but that's not easy and definitely not a one man business model I would base my future on.
Doing business in fiverr is tough, try it but don't get to much excited.
