Hey all, I've locked my self out of a new website I've built on Cloudways.

Site is built, I changed the cloudways URL for the domain name and now I can't get into the site or even view it?

I've tried to roll back the site and it didnt work.

Any advice?

Try opening your website on your phone through mobile data on a private window. If it works, then there's something wrong with your ISP.

get in touch with their support. They respond rather quickly.

I've got no support :(

I'm still with Vultr VPS and they have dropped support so I'm on my own......

Thinking about ditching cloudways for doing this to be honest....

Even for the existing customers? Dafuq? Didn't they give you a month or something to migrate before dropping support?

I discovered what the problem was anyway....

I left a space in the URL when I was swapping out the default cloudways URL.

I hit the save button and BAM.

Locked out.

Rookie mistake

Nope, didn't even announce it by all accounts....
That sucks. They charge a premium on the actual service so that they can offer support, so they're technically breaching the contract.

Digital Ocean bought them out and ditched Vultr (their rival)

Yeah I read that news but they can't drop support at least for the period their clients have already paid. That's shitty ass customer service right there. Added cloudways to my 'do not use' companies.

that make sense,
DO refuse to give any techy support whatsoever on normal plans and just refers you to docs constantly
Time to exit me thinks.....

Shame they are destroying their own business

Wait. I have just fallen in love with them. Need t go check quickly if I'm on DO

Yeah one of the reasons why i left DO
They are great overall but I dont have time to be a full time sys mgr
its easier to have support do it for you ;)
Who are you with now?

You will be if you've just signed up....

Do you have support?
Nope Im alsp Vultr. However, I think I do have support. The box on the right saying "need a hand?".
Am I missing something?
