Ebay is now slapping many new accounts with mc999 even before you list your first item.
I made a new account following all the perfected ways, new ip, new user, cleared cookies etc and got an mc999 and never listed a single item yet.
Anyone else received this from this forum?

Yep, I have. I am blacklisted from eBay. But overall, this does not mean you are. When they did this to me and everyone in my family, they were simply requesting only a photo ID or proof of what was being sold.

What else could they request? Your full credit card and SSN?

Hello Everyone,,

Ebay has 800 ways to find out is the suspended seller selling again in ebay....

So you need to follow these

Firstly

New ID and Address Proof ( for KYC verification )
New Bank Account Number ( name and address should not match with last account )
New Internet connection
New Laptop ( bcz they record mac addresses too )
New Phone Number

When they ask for photo ID, do you mean they ask for invoice?
No, invoices and Photo ID's are to separate things.

Photo ID:
A government issued ID that has a picture of you on it. Such as a passport or drivers license. (School ID's, like High School n stuff will not work because you are under the age of 18, and eBay does not allow that. This is an example as to why not use HS ID).

Invoice:
Basically a receipt that you own the merchandise you are trying to sell. This is really bullshit the fact they do that, but they do it to confirm you are selling a tangible product and the user wont get scammed.

Did you listed an item and was it new, risky, branded, expensive etc?
Did you used a good never used IP?
Did you deleted .sol flash cookies from Macromedia?
Did you have your bank and cc verified BEFORE you listed an item?

Small steps are best because it helps you save your account and not get this MC999 in many cases.

What does it say on the MC999? I normally get these on accounts by the bundles since it is normally the information they cannot verify or some of the information on the account is similar to a suspended user. I had called up on one account and they told me they flagged my account because some of the information was closely related to a suspended user.

Pretty much all of my new accounts get MC999 while my first item is still in bidding. I need to take it slower...

Don't use GV, or similar services, use prepaid phones, this is what's triggering the new MC999s

Everything set up perfectly. Never issues before. Now they are doing this on many accounts before you even list an item. Has nothing to do with items, ip, verified etc.

Well every year they are updating their stuff. And I believe this year is the toughest so far. Even amazon is being a total pain.
I'm sure you guys know of Aspkin Forum? They are talking about this everyday too.

Don't list high risk items
at the start you should post a book / none risky item
