Hey guys

Just want to know if anyone here is familiar with IPRN numbers?

For those who don't know what IPRN is: it stands for International Premium Rate Numbers.

I got to know these numbers when I downloaded a suspicious VPN app. After running it, the app told me to send the word "LICENSE" to a certain number to activate it. Like a total idiot, I did it

Then I found out what happened when I saw my phone bill — a huge amount had been charged for that SMS. I realized it was because of that number.

I brought it up with a tech friend, and he told me it was an IPRN number and that people make a ton of money with them this way.

So my question is:
Is this income method a scam, or can it be done legally?
And does anyone here actually make money with it and have more info to share?

Thanks for your time!
