Anyone heard of these guys? Reference Excellence

I was actually looking this up because a company I worked for closed their operations and began another business model. I left when that happened, and I wasn't buddies with my bosses. I was an independent contractor. Anyway, I needed 2 references from supervisors that I can't get so I looked into this.

Two Questions:
Is this service legit and reliable?

Is there room in this business for me? Fake websites and email addresses are our stock in trade here at BHW. Has anyone tried this?

Oh, I need the Gold Package, so it is 70 bucks. if it gets me the job that is very reasonable.
That covers phone calls and all that stuff but what if someone just went with emails.
My company closed, so my bosses don't have corporate emails. They have comcast.net and or Gmails. You can buy 500 gmails for 15 bucks (or is it more now)

Apart of that no clue how legit are they. Also this:

I dealt with them a handful of times and they never let me down. Today as we speak I was asked by my newly employer to provide my job references.
The guy at Reference Excellence is half American, half French. He goes by the name of François Yvette. (Not sure if that's his real name though but who cares), at the end of the day you just want somebody to scratch your back if you know what I mean. The dude advised me to take the gold membership- with that you get a fake company, the website, phone number and the reference itself. I think in my unemployment time, the fictional company-which was still on my resume without actually using the reference service, helped me get more attention from employers when applying (and easier job interviews) and job agencies versus choosing the status quo and keeping a 1.5 year gap in your resume,...which seems risky for the employer. People tend to softened the aspect of work gaps in your resume, not me. Unless you can back it up and find a good excuse (and a good talker) don`t take that option. That`s just my opinion!!!
