I saw this service for the first time today and it seems to be exactly what I am looking for. Anyone have any experience with it, especially running it with the API and so on? thank you

I just checked it out and it looks really interesting. Not super cheap at like $50/month, but with the ability to get a new IP every 2 minutes, it might be worth trying out.

I guess the real question is what do you intend to do with the proxies, and have they been previously abused and blocked for that purpose.

Here's a thread discussing it with participation from the owner. Unfortunately it doesn't seem as if the service is very stable/usable: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/166609-new-iprental-version-2-0-2-7-a.html

iprental is heavily shared, that means you receive a bad "quality" of the IPs as long as you are not lucky to receive a fresh one.
keep in mind those IPs are abused by thousands, this limits the possibilities.

I have a subscription with IP Rental. I'm looking for an alternative. If you need a service, it's not bad- it auto-rotates proxies based on an interval you determine. You can choose West Coast, East Coast, Central but not cities. Good for those who don't want to plug proxies into their browser, constantly change them, or use some other software to do the rotation between proxy server IPs. Problems I've had with it:

*Too damn slow
*Automatically proxifies Chrome and IE; but need separate plugin for Firefox.
*Arbitrary at times: I'll set auto-rotation for 12 minutes; but then it switches proxes in 2 minutes or 45 seconds- I have it set to delete my cookies so it can reset my connection when I'm in the midst of doing some online activity. I can manage around this but a bit annoying.

The main reason I'm looking for an alternative is it is too slow. Bear in mind I don't have a ton of experience with proxes so I'm not the best judge of its speed, but I have to believe there are faster proxies out there. Some feedback from an IPRental user.

I used them for 33 minutes before asking (actually demanding) a full refund. Prepaid $99 for a month, received $96 back (I guess they charged me $3 for the 33 mins, whatever). Solution might work for some but the rotator kept jumping to rotations on its own schedule. I set it for 12 mins and it started rotating every 40 seconds on its own. I tried to reset it several times and same BS. The proxies it did connect to were terribly slow. System is not for anyone serious about making money IMO.

Not a big fan of the service. They have a rating system of 1-100. The higher the number, the more abused the ip is. It was very difficult for me to get low numbers and the service was continually unstable for me. In short...it was a pain in the ass.

Checkout seo-proxies.com. Start with a small package and see how you like it. Great service and great guy. Works great with firefox and he has an API.

I found their API itself to be super high quality.. It does what it is supposed to very well, but only HTTP so will only help if you are doing browser based stuff. Also wasn't doing any CL or anything, so not sure the quality of the IPs..

Youtube created with their IP are not good. I need to verify that quickly.

By the way is this a scam?

How many proxies does http://seo-proxies.com/?tab=faq give?

Notice that they are both different.

im a regular user of ip rental for almost a year! but always have a bad experience... try ip hider people

its a nice soft for hiding the ips, but some times the auto-changing timer is lower then minimum timer 2 mins, so it gives some problem when using it.

IpRental is the worst.... half their IPs dont work or are SUPER slow.... by the time you use the IP about 50,0000 other scammers have already HEAVILY abused the PVA... dont even think about posting on Craigslist with that crap, talk about ghost city lol

dont waste ur time....utter crap

Absolutely postivily right. Used that one for more than four months..and lost my money..end of story. You are not going to make anything out of it.

It worked great for about the first week it was out. Until it had a lot of people sign up. Now CL has their Number. Most if not all your ads will be ghosted or flagged as well as companies like Hide my Ip worked great for the first week or so.

I would spend money on something else. Better off getting a few dsl lines put in if you are wanting to do some major posting.
