Anyone have ay advice on PPC advertising?

I have launched a few pieces of software and i want to start using ppc to drive sales. I have found lots of related blogs that have target customers that could be interested.

Is there anyone here that specializes in this area and can help me out- currently im using affiliates but i want to brake away from solely relying upon them, any suggestions would be great!!!
