Anyone had verification problems post-sale with Flippa like I do?

I know its the weekend right now, but my sale ended yesterday on Saturday, and the buyer put the money for the auction in Flippa Escrow vault. It now says:


Verifying your identity.
We are currently verifying your identity to ensure a secure transaction. This check can take up to 24 hours depending on the information provided. If there are any issues we will contact you.






So now I am wondering if Flippa usually takes this long to 'verify' everything. It has pretty much been 24 hours and no response no email. Anyone else familiar with how this process works? I don't want to transfer my website contents until this thing goes away and Flippa tells me to transfer the site.

Took them around 3-4 hours for me last time.

If this is your first time, i think you'll face this problem. Mine was held for more than 12 days!

I am staying away from their escrow system as the most annoying part is they are not only asking for id document but they want me to hold the id in front of me and take a photo of myself, kind of a mugshot!! It is really humiliating in my opinion, I don't know how you guys are handling these issues. Anyone had any issue like this?
