It's my first time running ads using TikTok ads I've spent $150 on ads but no single sale, so i am wondering do i need to spend more in order to start seasoning the pixel and get conversions or it doesn't worth it and switch to FB ads instead? I do have a budget of $1000 more to spend but not sure whether to keep going with TikTok ads or go spend this budget on FB ads?

Did you make your own product video? I also spent 1k with no sales but didnt make my own video, people who did had good results for the first few days then nothing

No, i didn't make my own video, i just wanted to test fast and was planning to create a video if i got few sales even with loss but now i am hesitant to keep going with TikTok ads, some people recommend it as a great place to advertise and from day one you will get sales so i wanted to give it a shot but not a single sale happened, so, where do you go to advertise then? are you on FB now instead of TikTok?

May I first ask what product you are trying to sell?

There are often times different reasons why a product dont sell.

As you might know , for pet products you have to look at:

1. The Ad
2. The Product
3. The offer
4. The competition

How many are viewing? Do they click through ? Where do these exit? Is the product a current via product ? How is the product presented? Is the sales pages of the product good at converting? Is the offer on the product any good? Is the product being offered anywhere else at a better price? Etc

These are some of the analytical questions you have to ask to see if the problem is just the advert or the overall set up .

use the "starter" sauce

1. Lowest Cost Bid Strategy
2. Targetting Expansion - (ON)
3. Creative & Landing Page is everything
4. Rotate in new creatives once a week
5. Horizontally or vertically scale budget of profitable ad groups - 15% every 24-72 hours

TikTok ads are like Facebook Ads 4 years ago... Super cheap

All you have said is just a generic answer and well known to me, if you read my question again you will find out what you have said isn't the answer i am looking for, i am asking about the TikTok ads as a new platform if it worth spending on it or not and if anyone here had success promoting campaigns on it. Thanks anyway

You do not need to spend more. At $150 you should have had a least one bite. I dont know the product you are selling or pricing.

So told you how you can evaluate so far.

If you can try another $150 and evaluate , however if there is still no bite you will need to look into what i said. TikTok generally converts a little bit more than FB ads.

Try to make the ads simpler, shorter but with greater impact. Customizing a video is a big and effective move

The audience on tiktok is still very young...

You are in b2c or b2b?

Take into account the VAST mayority of people on TikTok are kids aged 13-19, they only have the money their parents give them
and don't have their own credit card, having said that, there is a huge audience of people with money you can reach but you need to be engaging
Your ad needs to seem like yet another tiktok, showing how awesome the product is and how YOU use it and like it and how now they need it.
Same way some people only recommend places to it (I've taken these recommendations and they don't disappoint) you need to try to sell this way
Best of luck and hope you hit some sales soon

This is something new LMAO

I don't know if it's what he meant, but I agree with something.

Google search is search intent, social media require more effort for the tofu mofu bofu, but it's absolutely unrelated with what OP was asking between tiktok and FB :D

Tiktok users don't like buying, spent $2k on ads and made $760

currently tiktok ads not enabled in my country.
Any method to create an account ?
