I've been wondering this for a while. I browse the making money portion of the forums alot and the one thing that came to mind was "Does anyone bothered to get a mentor or something of that nature?"

As you can judge from my profile, I am quite new and if this thread is out of place, feel free to move it to its appropriate area. But yea, are mentors a thing here in BHW?

Yes, I was mentored by the best. Was told I would get killed if i ever was to talk about it but here you go...

I was mentored by... BHW!

Best mentor in the internet!

Mentors take $$ to give away information; BHW takes nothing :D
save your money to buy some quality back-links dude !! ;)

Yes , send $9 to my friend mickyfu , let him know I am your bro and he will mentor you , ahh he will apply a nice discount as well

Why would you pay someone to learn something you can learn just with reading and a few tries. If you have money and you want to spend it on stupid stuff, look for a mentor. Good luck :)

PM SkyrocketSEO and tell him you want to sell him one of your domains. He really likes PMs.

Lol it's nice to know everyone has a sense of humor and helpful in the same go. I guess when reading up on stuff, it's always mentioned to have a mentor and what not... but on the other hand there are people (like I've seen a few guys here) that are self-made and are independent women who don't need any help from a man >_>

But yea.

If one is found by a bona fide mentor would be nice, otherwise keep mentoring and empowering each other in the best spirit

forget "mentoring" that is banned on BHW...that is coaching for money. But if you can find a REAL mentor, someone more successful, connected, and with experience, that wants to take you under their wing? DO IT

Ask anyone who works in professional services for example (consulting, lawyers, finance, etc) and they will tell you its incredibly common in corporate culture. I might argue that the overwhelming majority of wildly successful people have had a "mentor" in one way or another.

I'm just trying to read as much as possible that is available on the forum to understand a lot of this as I am new to it also :)
