I am trying to find a good one, too.

There is one I use called SIMPLE VIEWER... maybe this one can help you.

I have installed this on one of my sites: gallery dot menalto dot com (I'm not sure if I can post links yet) and is pretty good for what I need, you can install lots of useful modules and the photo uploading is very simple, I use the version 3.0. The only downside at this moment is that the adsense module for placing ads on the site is quite limited, so you cannot play too much around with the ads.
