Anyone Get Banned Using Instagress?

Just wondering if you've got banned. If you haven't gotten banned, how long have you been using it for, and what are your settings?

It's definitely possible to get your account banned using Instagress. Obviously, if you have a fairly new account and decide to go max settings straight away, never post on the account and follow and like things manually while instagress is running you are likely going to get banned.

To prevent getting banned:
- Use safe settings
- Warm up the account first
- Have the account fully profiled (name, bio etc.)
- Have at least a few posts on the account before using Instagress
- I've heard that posting actively helps prevent your account being banned as well

What if someone has already "warmed up" an account, and has been running it for 2 months now on "max"...?

I got banned few weeks ago. My account was 4 months old, had +3k real active users. Average post likes were around 400.

I started getting emails to reset account password because instagram detected suspicious activity.
After 4-5 password resets I got banned.

Wasn't banned because of the speed of likes/comments/follows etc. (as soon as you keep it under the limits you're fine)
I was banned because IG detected that the account was getting using from multiple locations/devices at the same time..

Follow the security tips on Instagress' blog and you'll be fine.

I was using the account as a private one, was sharing pictures I took, so it's really painful because I had a lot of people that really liked my stuff, plus friends and people I met around... and starting again from scratch is a real pain in the ar**e

I've used instagress for multiple clients recently. As long as you only post, and do not do any follows or likes while using instagress you will be fine. I have been doing this for six months now. Also do not go max settings to fast and understand instagrams algorithm and follows and likes limits. also it depends on the instagress account age, I dont do accounts less than 3 months old.

Read instagress tips first.. among others.
You should set min. followers filter, because if you follow X people which all have 0 followers, that may raise eyebrows.
Use common sense, if you are using it for following people.
