Hi Guys,

Recently moved here from UK, had enough with the cold and rain over there.

If anyone here is from Valencia and would like to meet up for some drinks, get in touch and we'll sort something out.

Loving it here nice sunny weather, cheap booze, beaches, beautiful chicas;)

Can I ask why Valencia? I mean Spain has some really nice cities and islands.

I was living in Tenerife before, but now back in Germany.
When I will go to Valencia I will send you a message. :)

Hi,

Looking to get into some real estate and already got some contacts here so that's the reason of choosing Valencia:)

Never would have thought you where originally from the UK! But yeah I live not too far from Valencia actually.. I live pretty close to Alicante which is in the province of Valencia. Valencia City itself is a few hours drive away.

I agree Spain is the place to be and IamBlackHatter I am Irish not Spanish! I've been living on and off in Spain for years mainly for the love of the SUN.. I also love their culture, so many places to see and things to do, relaxed way of life, good food and price of living is much better than Ireland..

Also the Spanish know how the throw a party! I just got back from a week in Ibiza.. there is a boat from Denia to Ibiza twice daily (not far from Valencia city).. Plus I can grow my own vegetables on my roof top legally here if you know what I'm saying :p

Haha, I was in Alicante last week liked it a lot. I am here for the Sun as well which we don't get to see much back in South East England.

People are so laid back here, locals are always up for a chat even if they don't understand much English but they try.

Below was like 6 - 8 weeks ago in Valencia City, I never imagined I'll see a temp like this in my life. 50 Degrees! That's one odd day though, usual here is 35 to 38.

I'm from València, but I moved to the Canary Islands a few years ago (7% tax rate! and an average temperature of 23ºC)

I am moving to Tenerife on Friday. I normally travel Spain in the Summer and back and forth to the UK. But got sick of travelling now, so just sticking to Tenerife.

Man I wish I could pick up and leave for Spain but that would require giving up US citizenship which means paying exit taxes.

Why do you need to give it up?
I could understand people who want to, but needing to? I don't think that's needed.
