hi guys iam asking this question to know what methods you use to pay the advertisement charges ? becuase am from india and i have a debit card of an international bank and there is a money in it but when i tried to run an ad on facebook i got this message (

The authorization for this card was declined. Please verify that all card information you've provided is accurate, and try again.


If you continue to experience these problems, you will have to contact your bank or card issuer to find out why the authorization was declined.) what could be wrong? all my information are correct. plus after few minutes later i got a message saying im being charged with 58.14 rupees for overseas purchase whaaaaaat i didnt even make any purchase has these things happened to you guys? please help if you have faced this issue before.

The best way for you will be to go to an SBI or Axis Bank branch

Start an FD with them of 20k or 25k

They will send you a credit card with the limit of 80% of your FD

Yes, you need Rs. 30k to get a cc. I personally have an ICICI bank's instant credit card. You need a minimum balance of 10k. Then an fd of at least 20k. The credit limit of your cc would be 17k.

Hi bro,
I have similar experience with my SBI's international shopping card (silver/ debit card). It will not work but debit card from ICICI will work for sure. You can try it with your friend's ICICI debit card (if they have one). Hope this will solve the issue.

what about pof? are they okay with vccs?

The normal debit card work with POF but your bank will call you to authorize the charge.

Many banks allow you to create Virtual credit card(VCC) or instant shopping cards, which can be used for purchasing many things online just like using a credit card. And most of the banks does it for free.

I think you should contact your bank to check if they have a VCC option, where you can assign a certain amount of money, so you can be safe of misuse.

you can create vcc by sbi, hdfc, icici and kotak mahendra. there is an easy credit card facility for students from bank of india... u shoul try it....
