Anyone for some .gov backlinks?

Was doing a little searching, and found a quick way to get some .gov backlinks using forums (this is an offshoot of from the .edu backlinks post below this one).

I did a google search for the following phrase: 'inurl:gov/forum/*register' (remove ' ') and it gave me several thousand links to many .gov domains where you can register as a user. Tried one-it got indexed within a couple of hours, and it shows up on one of my blog inlinks. Crazy.

I get 16,900 total. Try searching from google.com/intl/en/ or simply google.com.

I got 5,2220 links from google .com. Note if I removed the * in front of the word register I got only 1 result. + rep given. thanks

This is awesome, in hours????? Wow I should kiss your little feet. Me Ole harvester is going back to work I guess.... +Rep given for giving me an alternative to blogging. And I thought the GOV would never be able to put money in my pockets...

Cool. Thanks Quint. Doesn't get much easier than that. I also got 61,100 results when I substituted edu for gov.
