Ok so about a month ago I like most noobs did a Google Search for "How to Make Money" and I came across an Idea for a Commercial Real Estate Finder aka "Bird Dog" and I thought what the hell at the time I was doing desktop support for alot of Doctors, Dentist, Administrators...etc and I thought "Hey I pass Vacant Commercial Buildings often..Maybe I would be good at this"...Long story short I posted a Craigslist Ad and I just now got a hit on it today wanting to know what my pricelist is? As dumb as this sounds I didn't even think about a price list I think somehow In my odd mind I thought the client would set the price. So my question is whats a good price point to start out at? Im wondering if anyone on here is doing this that may be able to help with suggestions?

So you posted an ad stating "Are you looking for commercial real estate" or something similar?

I have a piece of commercial property I need to sell for a RE client. If you find me a buyer I will pay $5000 commission. PM for details

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you are asking what you should charge a commercial real estate company for marketing their services to other clients, you should expect to be paid a fairly good rate. Just make sure that you aren't holding yourself out as a real estate agent, since all states require proper licensing.

(If I understand clearly) Be careful with this. I know someone who did this and got tons of legit leads for the buyer . He too was offered "5000 commision". He never saw a cent, even after deals were closed. What they do is tell you that its a long process to keep you waiting forever ( which sometimes it is). Depending if its shortsale or whatever. but yeah be careful.
