alot of creators are talking august 2025 being the worst month for views after YT made strange changes especially with this:

-changed the behavior of restricted content

i turned on restricted mode and all my content goes invisible until 1 year ago...like, what is going on? what is the solution?

I have detected more censorship

Some videos that pass without problem where flagged and age restricted in YT

From now, in my channel, any video that shows a woman is under additional review (they flagged me one in which there is a average woman in a hoodie, and I need to appeal to keep it green)

It looks like YouTube’s restricted mode changes are hiding a lot of content, which is why views have dropped. The best solution is to review your channel for topics or keywords that might now be flagged, adjust metadata/thumbnails, and provide feedback directly to YouTube since this seems to be a platform-wide issue rather than just your channel.

I am also facing same problem, my views getting down since start of this month. Its seems the
algorithm is changed and flagging new videos, start throttling videos initial reach, although all of my meta data is same as previous, but haven't found solid method to bypass this new algorithm.
