Im trying to get my friends to upvote on posts but most times they don't reflect. Anyone has a system they use to ensure upvotes actually count and get reflected?
Anyone figured out a way to hack upvotes?

Yeah, I have an account - 3 weeks old, 13 karma points. I joined the subreddit, scrolled through other posts (slowly like a human cuz god knows wtf Reddit tracks with their algo) and upvoted and it stuck. But some of my friends with new accounts did yesterday and it didnt count.

Reddit establishes a pattern for upvotes. If you're using same accounts to upvote the same user's comments/posts again and again, reddit won't count that upvote because they consider it as manipulation. It doesn't matter if you use a different device, are on a different network or even in another country.

Damn guess this gets you karma. My question was more towards how do I get my posts and comments upvoted. But tbf this was helpful too. Going to try this out to build up Karma

Need active / old accounts to make upvotes sticky else you have to bombarded it with 100s of new accounts.

Upvotes may not count if accounts are new or inactive. Ask friends to scroll a bit, stay on the post, and upvote after some time. It works better that way and their are chances that reddit do not flag those accounts.
