I'm sorry If I'm not supposed to post about other sites like this or not.

I'm having a hard time finding true sellers of home page backlinks. I want everything to be clean and legit and have to budget for it. But I just can't find anything around.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever used a site like buysell ads to get a link on one of them bigger website's home pages with a banner.

I'm just getting back into seo and have heard mixed reviews about linkjuice passing through to inner pages so I'm trying to find a niche related, high pr website that I can stick a link on their sidebar or footer with an ad.

Thanks

Yes, I have used them. You are just buying Ad Space.
You should use them for traffic not linking purposes.
I had mixed results with Ads but surprisingly better results from sponsored tweets.

Beg my pardon for sounding like an idiot here but...

Do you know of anywere else to look for links? I'm looking for high PR links in the beauty niche. I've searched everywhere!

Also, don't these ad links weigh the same as a regular link in the sense of linkjuice? Especially since they're on the home page? Or am I mistaken

I use buysellads and love it. I pay $40 a month for a 125 x 125 ad in the top right corner of a page ranking #1 . This is consistently my best referrer (except SE's of course) and brings me some quality traffic. If calculated on a CPC basis, for the last 30 days I've paid just under 2.3 cents per click, which is pretty fucking good seeing as I average a CPC of $1.15 using adwords. The backend is great allows you to split test ad's easily.

My only complaint is the total lack of any other sites in my niche to advertise on

I have used it, nothing good in return. Stopped last campaign few days ago. Could use that money much better on some other side.
Most of the add space sellers are pumping their stats with fake traffic and bots, so do your due diligence homework.

I think you're mistaken, as I just searched the source code of the page I advertise on for my link and it ain't there. As I said above it's still a really good source of quality traffic

No they do not, it is just AD SPACE you are buying and the links are used for tracking/referring.
They DO NOT pass juice, don't even think of them as links, just as Ads.

I see, ok understood. Thanks for your help!

I heard the same thing to, about WM pumping there stats with bots/traffic. I dont know about most but some do it for sure.

TZ2011 thats insane i think 4-trader made your ctr too low
i think u added ad out of your niche

Niche was perfectly for that site (stocks, trading). Ads were split-tested in few campaigns and used just best performing creatives... Believe me, this is the best from them. They will not see my money any more.

There was another website LIKE buysellads but I cannot remember for the life of me what it was! Its driving me crazy. Nonetheless, I have had good success with ads from BSA. Its pretty cheap depending on who you go with and how many impressions they have, but you can find some really good sites if you just search around on the site a little bit!

Buysellads.com isn't a backlink buying source. You are buying adspace. Not links.

Consider it an avenue to advertise and test your ROI. For HPRL you should be buying them from private networks, not service providers advertising everywhere on the web. Those are the networks targeted by Google for deindexing.

If you use like peerfly or whatever, you can see the IP clicks, some of the ip's are duplicates for the ads I put up on buysellads. So yeah, I'm not going back again. That and I didn't have a good experience with conversions at all, despite other factors of my own inability.

I am a little bit confused, isn't the overall effectiveness of your BSA campaigns based on your offer/site/and the site you are advertising on?

I'm sure there are people having a positive ROI with BuySellAds. It's nothing different than buying banner ads with Google Adwords.
