All the big accounts are using them. No one likes to talk about them, or if they do, they say negative things while continuing to use them.

Anyone here part of any big comment pods?

I was once part of one on Telegram. It is so laborious you are given a short amount of time to comment and like. If you miss the target you get kicked out. Never saw any traction on my page at the end of the day.

The ones in IG are better, because the "sends" and actual in-app engagement is tracked.

You will get more brand deals if you have more comments. Just watched someone land Walmart using this (gotta be making a few hundred grand)
 
This is still a thing, you can pay 50-100 USD to get in them and you get comments from verified accounts, though I personally think its good for social proof and not engagement anymore. It used to work in increasing engagement back in 2019-2021 but nowedays its just social proof

These groups are still running underground, even though everyone criticizes them, they are still used. IG has tightened up, but if done well, it is still beneficial. Do you think they are still effective or has the algorithm squeezed interactions?

Heard of them, never been in one. Seems like a short-term boost for a long-term credibility hit, ya know?

It's 50/50. Tje algo can pick up fast on some of these groups and can shadow ban your acc, or decrease reach. Some of these groups are monopolised by 2-3 big players that control 50% or more of the group users and their accs are botted.

I don't say all of them are the same, but the majority are like this.

I know multiple influencers crushing with them right now. Do you know any influencers that were shadow banned from this?

No, aged accounts. They are influencers. Just 1 account, not multiple. 1 influencer account is enough to make $100k a month. Not many people have the energy to do multiple.
