I've just started a web design firm and putting ads on Gumtree isn't bringing in any calls.

Has anyone sold them, or anything similar such as logo design on eBay?

Would really appreciate some tips or advice from anyone who's tried to.

I see people selling websites and services like web design on eBay all the time. Most of the time they charge ridiculous prices that no one would ever consider paying like one million for a domain name, but I've checked other people's seller history and more reasonable listings have sold for like $100. I see other people buying cheap domains, setting up an auto blog, and selling it really cheap for like 99 cents. They list it as "turn key websites make easy money blah blah." I don't know how much money the seller makes, but some people have sold hundreds of these and I don't know why they would keep doing it if they weren't making money. I hope this helps

Selling services like that on eBay isn't a good idea. Try this:

Put up a classified ad on eBay so it gets great exposure, but in the description put a link to your website. If you're promoting your design services, have solid examples of your work and you'll be golden.

If you are looking to sell actual websites try out flippa.
