Im thinking about selling mine I would post the name of it but its probably not allowed on here. Its a 4 year old channel that pulls in a consistant $600 per month just off adsense. It has reached as high as 1400 bucks in the past 12 months.
Its a channel where I only do nontalking driving videos within a specific trucking route I post every single day atleast 1hr long videos sometimes 2hrs.
Also the channel name is very very search engine friendly and just that alone should be worth a lot.
I wonder what its worth im thinking 35 to 40k.

Keep it.

I am not sure this would work, but each trucking route has hotels...
Booking.com or some other hotel site may have an affiliate program if you bring new customers.

Paste a link to each route, an affiliate link. In the description place. And check if you can make good text for it, that in this route, there are these kinds of hotels that if you want to check the route yourself.

As far as I know, people who watch these videos like the sounds of the cars and don't necessarily watch the video itself. But you never know...

I really don't think I should keep it because I just lost my job and I could use the money Especially if I can get about 35k

Unfortunately, you won't get that kind of money from it. Even though you lost your job, you still have some kind of source of income.

And if you're telling the truth and not lying, that's a lot. So $600 from Adsense is a lot. We're already moving into the range where you earn more than most people who make videos.

Youtube Channels generally don't make much money, even if they are profitable. Because you can lose viewers in a week, then there won't be any adsense income. And after that, if someone has bought it from you for 35 thousand. That was a very bad investment. By the way, this guy who would buy this youtube account for that amount of money. It would take many years to get the money back, so that the investment would start to produce.

So you will never get that kind of money from it. So forget the idea of selling it and keep it for yourself.

But yeah. you can talk complete crap. and I spent my life writing and thinking about this for nothing.

But heyh, check this Money tree:

What happens if you get 1 leaf from it?
- It won't die, but it will look bad.
What happens if you get 2 - 10 leafs from it?
- It will look bad.
What happens if you get all leafs from it?
- It will look bad, and it´s dead.

So don't take any leafs from it if you don´t have to.
Your YouTube channel is a healthy leaf, it´s not a dead leaf.
Simply remove the bad leaves from the plant so that the other leafs begin to flourish and thus new healthy leaves are produced.

Thanks for the input, imagine creating and posting a video especially 1 hr long or longer on YouTube for 4 years every single day. As a matter of fact I just scheduled today's video to go live before making this comment.

Don't you think the creator should be earning atleast 600 per month like I am doing? Now it's very possible you could be right about what I'm looking to sell it for.

However if I do end up selling it I'll come back on this thread and let you know and how much it sold for just to broaden your mind a little so you can realize what's possible in this new age we live in.

I could definitely be wrong. I really hope you get some money from it.

Personally, I underestimate everything.
So I can underestimate this YouTube channel.
That's why nothing necessarily works out for me :weep::)

Lol, Well I told y'all I lost my job so I definitely don't have it all together either.
All we can really do is try and throw stuff on the wall to see what sticks.

A $600 month channel with daily driving videos realistically sells for 25 30k. Strong analytics and consistent uploads can justify a higher price.

i sold my yt channel in 2018 with 1500 subscribers for 100$

Yeah, it was right at the beginning of my journey. Now those guys are popular creators, so I’m really glad I handed it over to the right people. It was a few years ago, and I actually managed to sell it for 5k.

Wow that's not bad money I would probably be crazy not to hand it over for that price especially being unemployed right now

$150 that's the kind of person I would be looking to buy from and resale turning this into a business possibly

a 4 year old niche channel with daily long videos could realistically sell in the low to mid five figures. Its consistent ad revenue and SEO friendly name make it appealing, though the final price depends on buyer confidence and growth potential.

I think the growth potential is definitely there all it would take for someone to record in a very big city and they would have a gold mine of a channel I went to New Jersey one time and right afterwards my income soared to 1400 bucks.
If I could afford to just stop working what I would do is just record videos in large cities but unfortunately I have to keep being a truck driver because I can't afford to just do videos only.

Given the channels age niche and consistent uploads, its real value might also come from the audience loyalty and engagement rate not just ad revenue. Highlighting these metrics could help justify a higher selling price to serious buyers

Yeah, that’s a solid payout for a channel at that level. If you’re not using it much anymore, its definitely worth considering.

Yes, people do sell YouTube channels, especially older, monetized ones with consistent revenue. Valuation usually follows monthly earnings × 20–36 months as a rough guideline, so your $600/month channel could realistically sell for $12k–$21k, but a highly searchable niche name and consistent traffic could push it higher. Always use a trusted platform like Fameswap or PlayerUp and handle transfers carefully.

Im currently looking into motioninvest they seem pretty solid. Waiting on them to give me an offer, they did give me what looks like some type of automated offer of 21k but now theyre looking at the details for a more detailed offer. Ever heard of them?
