Hello,
Anyone ever had a bad experience buying a script from a user in CodeCanyon?
I have recently purchased one from a user on there and the script is full of bugs, the customer support is terrible and to top it off, I have indications that there is something really dodgy with the script as it seems to be sending unauthorised emails to people who are not members on my website which the script is installed on!

If you bought via PayPal, ask for a refund if they do not meet the stated conditions.

I bought one, but the author refused to adapt it to a style of e-commerce platform, ie different sizes on each item, as it was too difficult, lol, noobs like that make me glad I got into programming to handle my own stuff like an expert.

Yes. Scripts and plugins that only work with license keys are really annoying. Imagine that you want to change your domain name of your website, you’ll need to purchase a new license. Contacting to developers or codecanyon doesn’t help, they don’t give a shít

i read codecanyon's item policy. it seems that custom modifications are not part of purchases

There scripts are specific and sometimes it is not suitable for all. So, It is better to buy a custom-made script.
