I was sharing a post from one of my business pages to a group. The next thing I see is a page to enter your mobile number for verification. Not the first time so I did that and instead of a text message, I get an email that says "Mobile number deactivated for Facebook text messages." I am running a script blocker, so I allow a script to run and reload the page to try again. I get a text message this time, but when I enter the code I am prompted to upload a selfie for review. I have done that and I am now waiting.

Just to be thorough I used the Report an Issue with Verifying Your Account form and included the details of the problem. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? I am hoping its just a glitch or error.

This is my personal account on my home Internet that I use daily.

Although I did not experience the same as yours, however, I do experience being prompted to verify my number so I did and successfully completed it. But then after that, photo verification appeared.

Unfortunately, because it was just my second FB (which is nearly 6 years old) got disabled despite sending my real photo. So, perhaps you might have a chance to get back your Facebook since it's your personal account. Hopefully!

Just experiencced a number verification, but afterwards, all is good

Antifraud system from facebook works. How many accounts are running from your Internet?

My account was restored within 12 hours. I think the script blocker I used prevented the mobile code from sending and triggered the selfie upload for review.

If you resubmit documents, Facebook can unblock your account
