Just to let you know, if your ISP was blocking BHW, formatting your computer would do nothing.

yes if your isp is blocking then the best way wud be to call them and simply say this site is important to you.

I had the same problem a few days ago.
Was not able to access BHW directly for 36 hours.

why the crap would an ISP block anything? :-|

Insight - they block nothing.

I would simply switch ISP's. Unless you live in a communist country like China, which if that's the case continue to use your proxy.

It might not be your ISP. Our server may have temp-blocked your IP, because it felt you might have been doing something suspicious. Do you use IE or FireFox? Do you have any browser tweaks installed that speed up the browser? If so, this may open too many concurrent open connections to our server, which would trigger the block.

If you dont have anything like that installed, then give Trophaeum a PM and include your IP; he may be able to check it out for you. Just don't bug the guy unless really necessary, as he's a pretty busy dude.

i think i have this problem

im using google web accelerator

Yeah, have had this problem a few times in the past couple days. Multiple logins or some hogwash...

You'll need to disable that software, or any other software like it, for BHW to work right for you.

BHW is not allowed in any council library in leeds (uk)...they have marked it as suspesious site :(

Ya the site worked fine after a few hours i was just anxious cause i never had the problem before, probably just dns servers adjusting thanks for the help though.

if it was a matter of a couple hours it couldv been a temporary ip block on the firewall or it could have been last night when i was drunk and clix was online with me and we were messing with the site :) temporarily shutdown the site while we did some work

I was blocked access to bhw from cablevision for about 3 weeks had to use version10.info proxy the hole time to access the site, and about 3 days ago it was removed and seems to be bale to access bhw :)

i have been tweaking the fw a bit lately, there was some old stuff still active that iv since removed, probably the reason for it

if anyone gets banned for a reason they feel is wrong, pm me your ip and i can check what happened, chances are you pissed the firewall off in some way though if you get banned. normally they are temp bans unless you do it too many times in a row
