I doubt it. I think lots people are going to get their accounts deleted soon

Well people use Instagram on other platforms, their website offers basic follow , unfollow and like settings. They can't just ban anyone not using their fingers.
Also, whats more sketchy. How far off are they from attaching our literal faces to our accounts through iPhone facial recognition. Now THATS scary.

Exactly.
Maybe what they mean is that accounts that NEVER scroll naturally (I mean with pauses and stuff) and that are just PURELY bots, will be damaged since they now get that information.

This isn't a big deal, you just add realistic scrolling powered by random-number generation into a bot and then you look perfectly normal again.

It's freaking facebook. They know what you bought your grandma 2 years ago for her birthday. Obviously they can tell with ease who is using bots and who isn't. I bet they don't even need the finger tapping thing for that. That is why everyone who is using a bot has got non existent engagement compared to normal people.
The account where I still use a bot to follow unfollow is not getting any followers anymore. I don't think people see when the bot follows or likes them. Engagement is non existent too. Bots are ok for shitty spam accounts but not for real brand accounts that you care about.

Ok is this now like an established truth? Because I keep reading it everywhere but then other people say that they keep botting and everything is fine. And you know I just want to know so I can stop doing it like right away because I'm legitimately freaking out each time I read this and I'm this close to having nightmares about botting ruining the accounts that I care for.

Don't worry. The BOTers will always find ways to game the system. They will make bots which mimic human interactions.

I noticed this too. Hardly any followers when I bot follow but after 1-2 weeks of rest I get way more just from manual following
