Anyone else seen change in rank today?

I blasted my 1 year old site with a spammed AA list a few days ago. My site has been sat at the number 3 spot for a few months but today it has gone down to page 3!!

First I thought it might just be dancing but having a look at the site on page 1, they are mostly sites that were not on the 1st page before (mostly sites like pirate bay and filestube type of sites)

Anyone else experienced this?

i think different keywords, different dances. You can't say the same for every keyword, at least from my experience
 
Hmmm notice that 2 of ours have started doing the dance (both were PR2 when I left the office yesterday, N/A now, but I'm sure they'll settle down eventually).

To be honest I've given up checking though, been so many updates of late that things are constantly jumping up and down! Going to wait to googles slightly less schizo and can decide how it wants to rank pages!
 
now im on page 4 in uk and 2 in usa. 1st page results are moving like mad!!
 
bizarrely one of our sites is 1st result for a pretty popular search term... Google is weird sometimes :P
(still like I say, seen so much movement this past month that it's probably just a blip)
 
I noticed one site for a very competitive keyword jump from 29 to 23, but I have been doing work with it constantly. I haven't really checked others.
 
2 of my sites jumped from page 1 to page 8 or 9 and still jumping I think is a new algo update but my traffic is double, people are getting to my sites searching long tail keywords
 
Site moved to the top of page 2 now.

Half of the sites that were on 1st page are not there now. Aint gotta clue whats going on :/
 
What kind SEO stuff have you guys done recently? Any AMR or Link purchasing? Just SB blasts?
 
One of mine dropped off the damn radar ever since the first update but the others are still on page one. Of course the one that dropped off had the highest CPC.
 
my site has also dropped down a few places when searching for its name and it has also fallen off page 1
 
Well, blind inexperienced spamming doesn't work as well as it used to any more. Those who have been doing more advanced & well strategized work see it pay off now.
 
Most likely a dance, next thing you know you'll be #1.
