Normally my stuff gets indexed in 20-40mins via webmaster tools on money sites.
Pbn links get indexed very quickly from their social media shares. + linking other social sites method.

I recently started a new site and things barely got indexed, even resubmitting the sitemap twice. I had to manually submit the URLs and still only a few got indexed, feel like shady stuff's gonna happen this year.

Mine's been slow af. Seriously.
On one of my new websites, just Homepage, Contact and About Us page got indexed in a day straight away. Useless shits.

EDIT: Checked it as for now and all the articles got indexed. Hoooray.
Took two days

It's been very slow. Made some meta updates on a few sites (description, titles etc) and it took around a week for the changes to be reflected in the SERPs.

Yes, I use google webmaster tool to index my website pages quickly. You should also try it.
