Anyone Else Notice This With G00gle?

When you go to g00gle and you type in your website in the search box without the extension I have noticed the following. Yes all cookies, history and everything else cleared each time I tried. I also tried on multiple browsers.

I typed in mysitename and my website shows on the 5th page. It is not listed as number 1 like my other sites. When I look at my position of the site it is on the 5th page. I have read other places that this is a penalty and others have said this is bull.

Has anyone else experienced this and is this truly the way to find if you received a penalty or is this a coincidence?

The only way I know of to find out if your site is in a penalty is to compare the allinanchor and allintitle results.
 
if its not a highly competitive keyword, your penalized. thats happened to me a few times before.. i just continue to build links and it rebounds.
 
sometimes it does that for me, sometimes it does not.
 
Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough.

For example go to any site that has been around. Microsoft . com or Facebook . com. Type in facebook into the search box of G00gle. You will see that facebook is number 1. One of my sites does not show as number one it shows on the 5th page. All of my links come before it.
 
It happened to me before too. I was worried that my site could have been blacklisted. But after I backed off my SEO activities, it came back to first page.
 
How old is the site? Have you been actively optimizing it?
 
This happened to me when I had some sexy related content on my site.

So it has to do with your content.

Go to webmaster tools and click on "Your site on the web", then "keywords".

See what google thinks your site is about.
 
No my website is optimized. I have checked each page and all keywords, titles, descriptions meta tags and pictures are completely optimized, all articles are completely unique and written by me. There is no spinning, scraping etc. I checked a couple of tools and the scores are always 100 or A+ for page optimization. Google knows what my site is. I have many sites and this is the only site it has happened to. The site is 5 months old and I have seen the g00gle dance before, but this is something I have never seen before where you type your site in and it is not number 1 like all my other sites and other sites I have tried.
 
stop using xrumer it might be the reason.. I used it and lost my couple of sites .. the best way is still doing things manually .. the reason behind manual is that you cannot post thousands of back links at once which really hurts in long term.
 
google ranks each page of your website individually. so if you've been building backlinks to your inner pages, theres a good chance they will rank above.

facebook, has millions of backlinks to facebook.com

whereas your inner pages probably have more backlinks than the homepage, so they show higher because they have more value than your homepage.

Consider about pagerank sculpting. You need to do better internal links to get more priority to home page.
 
1. I am not using xrumer, I don't build thousands of spammy links
2. facebook was an example of what I am talking about.
