I have 6 youtube channels under my google adsense. Well monetized. Today I come to find 2 of my channels with monetization disabled. I can't even change the channel to another adsense! Seriously crazy.

Not me, just been hit periodically with banned videos (rarely) that were monetized but 6 channels may explain your problem. They must not be high quality.

Guess I'm not alone, I was just on adsense forums and it looks like Youtube has gone apeshit on everyone with a copyright strike.

Funny thing is that they even hit people who never got a copyright strike or a community strike. 3 of my accounts got disabled although I didn't received a strike. Not saying everything was legal on my accounts :D But definitely no strike. The accounts are still alive, just no monetization possible.

My friend noticed this the other day with the copyright strike issue. Said that lots of his videos were pulled due to copyright issues. Not sure if his adsense was affected or not, as his main issue was the videos at that time.

I just received an email from Youtube....

Dear dexum,

We have noticed that your account t******c has multiple unresolved Community Guidelines strikes, copyright strikes, and/or worldwide Content ID blocks. Your ability to monetize your videos may be disabled on all your accounts linked to this AdSense account unless you resolve these issues. Note that account monetization may still be disabled if you delete the blocked videos.

If you are disabled for monetization, you might be able to regain monetization after six months provided that all YouTube channels linked to this AdSense account are in good standing.

Please refer to our Copyright Center and Policy and Safety Hub to learn how to manage your content on YouTube. You can also visit Features and Copyright Notices sections of your YouTube account for more information regarding your account status and visit the Help Center for more information on commercial use rights.

Sincerely,

The YouTube Team

What has me mad is they already disabled my channel's monetization. Looks like I'll have to wait 6 months now or just delete the channel and evade further damage..
