I noticed a big drop off in calls to my business and couldn't figure out what was up. Just found out today that my Google Places account was suspended. Some of my listing (ok all) were pretty spammy as they were stocked with keywords but it was like that for well over a year. Seems odd that they just bothered me now. Anyone else run across this?

I deleted a lot of the listings and I edited the remaining ones. Do you think it makes sense to open different accounts so that if they hit me again, they don't shut down all of my listings?

My listing got sandboxed a year after I posted it because I used a toll-free number instead of a local number. As soon as I added a local number, the listing reappeared the same day. It had been marked as "pending review" because I lacked a local number.

Don't delete the locals, detach them from your acct.... some will end up detached and unverified but you will be able to do public edits and change whatever you want but for the future don't mention the big G by his real name....

Google is changing. It announces something new and then secretly changes everything while the chaos ensues.

We all know big brother is watching, why draw attention by saying his name....

Why not?

Because they have big brains and they're all over everyone's sheet, man. Laying low makes sense. Do you think I'm paranoid for having to spin my mac address after I've hammered Goo with MNF and Market Sam, and have 1 or more gmai accounts? Think again, Bud.

What's the name of this forum? Dudley Doright's Way To Riches?
