So, have been using Modafinil for over a year. I cycle it, this month I use, the next month I won't. It used to give me razor sharp focus, but lately, it is acting weird.

I am not feeling anything. The last cycle I did, I mean, the last time I was off it, was because I was getting extreme headache during workout (High intensity workout specifically designed by a pro-bodybuilder for me targeting muscle growth, this might also caused the headache. As I didn't workout for a week straight when I stopped taking modafinill before getting into the "No Headache" mode) which would last throughout the day. I went off modafinil and everything is fine now.

I am using it again but with "Breaks", after every day or two I would take 200mg of this and it does nothing to me like it used to do.

I got these from India, my mother and sister often visit India during vacations.

If anyone experienced the same, do let me know.

India is the key word here. If you read around you will find many fakes come from India. No personal experience with this but I've heard a few stories here and there while doing research for educational purposes.

I bought some from India also about a year ago.

Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, some of them are most likely just a placebo anyway. I have noticed a tolerance build up though, they don't really work as well as they used to.

What effects have you experienced from cycling?

You could try a stack with Adrafinil and see if it works better, from my experience adrafinil + phenylpiracetam worked exactly as modafinil.

How much cheaper is it from India compared to getting a prescription for it?

Might be tachyphylaxis , you might need to stay off of it longer for your receptors to desensitize. Also when you are buying from India , make sure you get the generics .

I never experienced that, but it's been years since I took the drug (Apo generic) and I don't have a lot of experience.

About India - I wouldn't trust their drugs, or drugs from China. But at the same time, most of the brand name drugs are made with precursors sourced from these 2 countries. While the FDA does spot inspections overseas, it seems all the big names in Western pharma have been caught at some time or another with contamination issues. This is why I stay away from scripts now, I just don't trust the pharmaceutical industry.

Anyone have some tested link of shop where you can buy it without prescription with international shipping ?
I see a lot of sites but haven't ordered from any yet as am still trying to figure which ones are safe to buy from, so if anyone is ordering them online recommend me the shop from where are you taking them

Meds from India, generally speaking have the lowest reputation compared to any other region of the world (just check drugbuyersguide). They are very hit or miss. And I have seen people in the past who got pills tested which tested positive for chromium and nickel (heavy metals). I'm assuming stainless steel was used in the process and somehow the chromium was getting into the pills. The nickel... could have came from some other iron alloys.

You can get modafinil from a well known south african supplier and theirs is top notch. You might have to pay a few extra bucks but it's worth it. And don't get me wrong, there are some well known sources in india who produce great meds and have great reputations.

However, certain meds are much harder to produce. The more synthetic the med (the harder it is to make) the higher your chances of finding shit in your pills that shouldn't be there. Especially from a country like India.

As far as the headaches.... they are the 3rd most common side effect with this drug. Cycling can help keep your tolerance down, but the more and more your body is exposed to the drug, the less effective it will become and the worse the side effects will get (generally speaking). You can see this with virtually every drug in the world. Pain killers, benzos, steroids, pot, etc. The more you use them (even if you cycle) the less therapeutic they become, you gotta take higher doses, and side effects get worse. The brain can recover fast but I doubt your brain is fully recovering in 30 days. It took me 8 years after I stopped using amphetamines for most of the side effects to go away. Side effects that were caused by damage to blood vessels, nerves, my adrenal glands, brain and heart. The only real side effect I still suffer from today is stage 2 hypertension. I take no stimulants at all, low salt diet, work out, run, but my blood pressure always maintains around 180/120. Since noone else in my family is like this I attribute it to the 2 years I used speed/stimulants between the ages of 17-19. That shit took a serious toll on my heart.

Granted, speed is nothing like modafinil but I just wanted to make a point. Drugs in general can have very long lasting side effects that take months, years... or in worst cases, never go away.

Also, I just want to make sure, but are you taking any anabolics or other compounds?

If not, I'd start monitoring your blood pressure. High blood pressure is well known to cause headaches. Problems with the immune system can increase inflammation and cause headaches. Dehydration... the list goes on. But the least you can do is start checking your BP and pick up a $10 bottle of urinalysis strips. I keep stocked on these strips, glucose meters, blood pressure units, all sorts of shit to monitor my health. Here is what the urine strips can test for...

The analysis includes testing for the presence of proteins, glucose, ketones, haemoglobin, bilirubin, urobilinogen, acetone, nitrite and leucocytes as well as testing of pH and specific gravity or to test for infection by different pathogen

It may seem like paranoid advice but the strips are so damn cheap and I love knowing what's going on in my body.

I also get my testosterone/free-test tested twice a year. Then my doctor does an electrocardiograph every 3 months. Just due to my history of stimulant abuse and complete resistance to blood pressure medicines.

Anyway, I'm not a doctor. Just wanted to throw out some of my thoughts.

Good luck,

-BB

The main thing is, I need someone to carry it as customs in my country is quite annoying. That's why I bought it from India.

Thanks for the suggestions mate. Makes sense. Yeah, I bought generics. It did wonders to my daily routine before the headache appeared. So not fake, that's for sure.

Great advice bud. But like I said, I need someone to carry it. Am very busy with my work (IM) atm, else I would have visited SA just for the sake of getting Modafinil.

Not really anabolics, but I ran a cycle of Test for a month, that's 4 months ago.
