Used it for about a year happily, but the new Google Adwords change made it impossible to see the searches on the thing. Swapped over to a competitor.

Hi, I would like to know to which service you switched too ? which competitor ? Im trying to find an alternative myself.

Well, no tool is perfect. I am using keyword revealer for sometime. Dont rely 100%

Using SemRush now, planned on upgrading for some time, Adwords change pushed me over the edge.

It was useful, but the fact they didn't use a centralized database is just shameful. All those installs that could have been collecting and sending data home...

So are there any tools that will still show accurate data after the change to google keyword planner? Does semrush show accurate data still?

semrush is good for keywords data but not accurate ofcause.

semrush here too. Accuracy of google is difficult to match. I mean they collect so much data. I guess you will have to use atleast 2-3 tools to get better results.

I agree with semrush. I also scrape the Google suggest still with scrapebox and watch trends in Google competition finder from SB.

Once I get a few targets I scrape their KW for more ideas and check the search volume with Google MCC adwords as well as rescrape Google suggest & comp finder.

It became useless to us. We canceled it and just use semrush and ahrefs

I wonder how many cancellations they've had recently. I'm assuming a good portion of their customers are switching to other services.

Google's recent adwords update slapped many services. But longtailpro suffered most because they didn't have a centralized server. I prefer using at least two to three services to do research. Combine with keyword revealer, keyword finder, SEMrush.

I only had the LTP software & didn't had that platinum or whatever membership. But you are right that its pretty much useless now.

Seems like a lot of people are going to semrush (and others) from reading the previous posts. I have learned to use multiple tools because info can be contradicting.

There seems to be away around it (was sent an email) shame though as it was a great tool. Not using it much atm.
