anyone doing good with taboola?

Hey mate thanks for sharing all this knowledge.

I'm new to the ad arbitrage space and just wanted to confirm if what you meant by getting the cpa offer accepted you mean..

1. Adsense (or alt) accepting your campaign/landing page as qualified and agreeing to pay you for displaying their ads?
or
2. Taboola accepting to drive traffic to your campaign/landing page?

Cheers

I meant getting accepted into networks that pay you.

Cheers for the quick response.

If you don't mind could you please note a couple of deal breakers for these ad networks?

Off the top I would assume

1. Poor UI/Spammy looking site
2. Low traffic (how does this work if you're doing paid arbitrage from scratch? Do you need to spend on traffic first?)

Every network has their own criteria which is different and all have their own terms. There is no sure way of getting accepted to all.

Cpa networks usually interview you not so much the site.
Cpm networks check the quality of the site and usually have minimum traffic requirements.

My best sites use both and also offer affiliate links, which usually operate like cpa networks.

Okay got it!

Thanks heaps for the insight, much appreciated.

You mentioned above that you don't really have a niche and that majority of your successful sites/campaigns are reverse engineered. Does this mean you typically have a broad interest website (such as a trend website) which you use as a launching platform to run winning articles from various niches?

Sorry for bombarding you with all the questions, would it be possible to dm you with more questions and pay you for a q&a/consult essentially? I've been doing e-commerce and ppc for the last few years and we've got capital that we're wanting to start investing into flipping websites and dipping our feet into adsense arbitrage. It's a completely new beast for us and we'd love some guidance if possible

Ah, no that is wrong. I only build niche websites. What I mean is that I don't only specialise in 1 niche and I make the niche as broad as possible. For example I do not build a site about prom dresses, I build a site about womens fashion.

there are many other native ad companies, such as outbrain, revcontent, mgid etc

used revcontent several months ago and they disabled my ads all the time until I stopped using them. They always found something wrong with my images, although I changed them twice and they looked pretty legit. Also, with revcontent you need to spend good money before you see results because there's constant tweaking of the campaign.

I will admit that I'm not usually good with PPC, but even so, most PPC networks are pretty scammy (they steal a lot of money from you in the incipient phases under the excuse that their system needs to tweak your campaign for better results). However, these being said, had I have money to throw out of the window I would definitely give revconent another try because I feel (yeah, just a feeling) that it has potential. I just don't have the money, though (I would say $500-$600 is needed at the very least to be spent before seeing results)

@tazarbm most of the people i know who work in media buying optimise on at least $100 per day and then spend upto $3000 per day! Many do more than that.

It is aimed at high budget volume ad investors, if you are not in that league you will struggle to make money because those are your competitors.

What i found my strength was that i could remarket better than almost anyone with the way i structured my sites. Which is why i find it very lucrative.

Always had pretty low earnings with Taboola just a wasted ad space in opinion. But again, it depends on your niche, some niches perform better with Taboola

That's really interesting, I'm quite experienced with pop, native networks and would you say building a general "info" website about topics that are really engaging for the users, for example 'Top 10 most expensive.... / richest musicians...' and so on is a good way to run it? I'm thinking (for the start) Google adsense on site and running the CPC arbitrage from not so expensive sources?

I dont do it exactly like that, but yes that sort of thing. Cpm banner ads work better than cpc!

Taboola approval is the hardest part but it could get profitable fast for the CPA offers.

Very interesting!
Do you sell actual products or are able to do it what you do now successfully by selling actual products? Would It work Like that or you just do CPA for others not a product that you may have some ownership to it?

I do a bit of everything, affiliate, cpa, cpm and own products. Whatever works best for the niche.

Taboola traffic seems rather expensive lately but can work very well hopefully costs come down down after the holiday season though.

anyone doing good with taboola?
how much you make with taboola with cpa?
They are good. You can scale many things there and start testing/optimize new offers with them. Before you get Leads tru CPL

taboola is shit ,This is the most disgusting platform I've ever used

I tried Taboola but I've lost money. I've been with Adsense for years, and I tried Taboola on the bottom of my pages to replace my Adsense there, but I removed it after 10 days. Income was way below what Adsense was giving me.
