Anyone Been Caught Doing Email Links? What Happened?

Quick question about Amazon Associates. I've been driving traffic to products by posting ads on CL and then offering a link via email. I know this is against the TOS, but has anyone actually been cut off for doing it? And how often did you/they do it before getting caught? I know that not ALL of my traffic comes from email links, but some days I'll get 20-30 clicks that way.

I'm pretty new to this whole black hat thing, but am learning quickly. Any tips/horror stories would be appreciated!
