Just curious. Couldn't get a payment gateway to accept dropship . Everyone frets over charge back. But I don't know if switching to crypto payment will make my store successful. The last time I tried my sales conversion dropped drastically. Once my customers in US sees crypto as option (they get careful and suspicious)
Any idea on how to go about this?

For now most of crypto payments are used on Deep Web, but i hope that people will using in everyday life very soon.

Ignore the posts above please, they're most likely trolling. I bought a lot of stuff with cryptocurrency, there are businesses dedicated to exchanging gift cards for BTC (egifter for example).
At the same time, there are platforms like wirex that provide you with a credit card that is linked to your account, which you can fulfill with BTC.
You may lose your "privacy" but that's common sense as these businesses need to do taxes and of course are not there to cover blackhat activities, but it is a fact that if you got nothing to hide, you can use BTC as if it was another currency.

Thought as much. As I see so many stores online accepting crypto. Though sales conversion might not be as high as PayPal. PayPal is a form of digital currency too any way

You can, but it's easier to pay via a regular debit card rather than going through what you mentioned here, therefore it has no wide adoption as a payment gateway. Not sure why my comment needs to be ignored here.

I wouldn't bother buying anything physically, especially from a platform that I don't trust completely (if it was Amazon.. I would have bought probably).I have no guarantee that the product will be delivered (I can't do anything about it, if so). With that, the hassle of actually paying though a cryptocurrency isn't going to help the cause either.

How to make people still buy? Not sure, just my two cents as a user.

All it takes is to get the card to have basically a BTC debit card, it's not harder, neither is easier, whether if you are using cash or BTC for a debit card, the time for delivery and activation is the exact same, I got my wirex card within 3 days and activation was 5 minutes. The major limit in this scenario is the country you reside in. As for gift cards, the major delay you will find is the confirmation of the BTC tx.

BTC by itself is no adopted for physical items due to the fluctuation cryptocurrency has. Amazon has thought about adding it, but the risk it involves is not worth it for them nor for most businesses. Exceptionally we have those businesses that are more "tech" such as crypto wallet sellers, security hardware, in fact, if I recall correctly, Elon Musk once sold a Tesla for bitcoin.
At the end, I wouldn't expect them to add BTC directly but instead accept those debit cards that are linked with BTC wallets, that way they don't suffer the risks of having to deal with cryptocurrency while embracing more customers.

I once bought an Ukranian wife with Bitcoin

Be sure to let them know what you're selling is illegal and they must use BTC. So many ppl out there trying to use PayPal

Fact is no one uses it, no matter how easy it can be done. You can buy BTC in minutes and then complete a transaction, but fact is if you only offer BTC your sales will plummet to almost nothing in most industries.
Everyone on here keep in mind is niche and in no way indicative of buyers, unless we are talking about industries who are grey area and the users therefore are already willing to use BTC.

OP your best bet is getting a merchant account, not using payfacs like square stripe etc

"Fact is no one uses it", speak for yourself. Our business receives 30% of its capital in BTC, yet we're a registered entity with physical studios. Any newer business wants to expand to cryptocurrency as it not just attracts more people but gives you the chances of appearing in local news as "place that accepts cryptocurrency".
Check by yourself any "Now accepting bitcoin", there is a reason brands won't remove it as a payment option. (hint: people use it!). The only reason a company does not accept BTC in 2019 is for the mere fact of volatility or security in case they're not able to keep their wallets safe.

i bought a Samsung s9 with crypto from overstock and it just arrived this morning i am skeptical on buying things with crypto unless its from a reputable source
