hey I just checked the log everything says failed??

The program now won't close properly I have to shut it down in task manager and takes up 100% CPU Usage when trying to close :/

Guys please, without more information I cannot help at all. I need to know what versions and settings that are relevant. How many are failing (3 lines of a log is not much to go on), if it is just a few that is to be expected. Not every blog is setup alike and it will not always be possible to post a trackback link.

If your targets have too many OBL then it will not post a comment / trackback, that is the purpose of it.

Also I just checked those three targets you posted and not one has a trackback link so they will not be sent. Again, more info is always better than no info.

Fixed and PMed. You may want to remove the link now, its never a good idea to leave any personal info laying around if it doesn't need to be there.

Thanks. I have removed the link.. What about the link in your quote :p

one computer just isn't enough to run this - to really benefit you need 2 is my thinking . cause it grinds through the submissions and the success rate i fairly low .. so to do quite a few sites -- requires you to use both licenses.

I am happy with the purchase overall - because it is hands off - but I can't imagine getting page 1 rankings just using this tool - going to require several -- and this moreso is for the people asking about that.

I got page one ranking for a local seach term

EPC XXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXXX is the location) NUmber one spot

227 confirmed links (EPC is the energy pack people in the UK need to hae to sell or rent their house out)

Other than add some decent content (1 page - 500 words) all I did was plug this tool in and let it run.

The conurbation in question has about 125,000 residential properties and there are 150+ directly competing sites (not URL's - sites - that have both EPC and the location on one or more URL)

On the other hand I am also using it to promote a product site (very generic) and got up from page 73 to page 60 in a week. BUt hey - it's still something.

I like the feeling - when I'm taking the dog for a walk - or eating tea - that some linking is going on. That my PC isn't just sitting idle.

When that's an "itch" you need to scratch. Then NHSEO does the job.

To misquote Glengarry Glenross

"ALWAYS BE LINKING"

Scritty

PS - If you are using 1.6.3.0 update again. That version was live and current for all of a couple of hours. 1.6.4.0 is live now and fixes some of the hangups I was having

Hey Jim, any roadmap stuff you can share besides fixing bugs and whatnot?

Thanks for the write up Scritty.

Hey Jim, any roadmap stuff you can share besides fixing bugs and whatnot?

After mentioning v1.6 and getting asked repeatedly every day about when it was coming I am hesitant to mention any update until it is virtually finished. With that said I can say that my main priorities right now are to iron out any small bugs that may still exist (all known bugs are squashed for now) and finish the profile handler.

The profile handler is going to be a more comprehensive handler of profile settings, pages and targets. Recently I have been working on the per profile settings such as setting PR and OBL limits per profile and some others (domain specific searching).

Anyway Ive just done what I said I didn't want to...

One license, to be used on two computers.

Thanks for clearing that up, lots of people think I fully support 2 people sharing a license when that isn't why I allow 2 computers per license. I like helpful people :)

I just purchased NHS and let it run for a couple of hours for 10 pages of my website (10 profiles). When looking at the Profiles tab it shows 50k comments posted and 500 links confirmed. However when I do a check with the link checker for all blog comments and all trackbacks and afterwards check for confirmed comments/trackbacks only, NHS only shows around 100 links.

So my question is, which link count can I trust? And another weird thing is that for trackbacks it doesn't show a single confirmed link. All my links seem to come from blog comments only. All I did was using the default settings without any proxies.

I'm not saying that the software is bad in what it does. Quite contrary, I really like it! But it seems there's still a a bug or two left in the code.

What could be the reason for the different link counts? Is anyone else experience this?

anyone else experiencing the program hanging when you click stop? When I press stop the green play button never comes back on?

How many threads are you running? Proxies?

id like to try the new version as soon as i get some paper to buy it

I've been checking links that have been approved according to the profile page, but when I do the actual link check and visit the URL, it's not there.

What do the comments look like when it's posted?

should trackback progress look like 110390/25754

I was seeing repeated attempts at trackback urls in the logs for a while.

Just trying to understand what it is doing.

Im running the program on my laptop and pc, and can easily acheive about 400 confirmed links on each within the first 24 hours. However after the first 24 hours the amount of confirmed links plumetts to to about 20 confirmed links every 24 hours. Why would this be ?
The best way to use this program seems to be to replace the keywords every 24 hours.

I'm experiencing exactly the same scenario even though I'm targeting a pretty broad niche.
