Anybody using No Hands SEO?

Just bought it. I am really looking forward to using it.

EDIT: Just received login details. I am translating the comments into Spanish. Is this something you want for your downloads area?

EDIT 2: I just realized that either i do my english sites or my spanish ones. Could we have an option to use a certain Comments file depending on the profile?

Bug Report

I have been having a problem when setting up website profiles. As I set up the profile I choose advanced and then set the number of pages to be crawled at "1" in the popup window. However, when I click "play", the tool starts crawling all the pages of the site. I found that by editing the profile and selecting 1 page again, the problem is resolved.

PS: I m using the latest version 1.4

Thanks for the bug report, I will get that fixed Im releasing a bug fix update with a few suggested updates tomorrow, I will get this fixed for that update.

To be honest I am unsure how a computer with just 512Mb RAM would handle 60-100 profiles, I would not like to guarantee that it would work for extended periods of time, I'm looking into the memory usage and it should be improved with the next version though I still would not think it would handle this many. It will definitely work just that after a while the tool collects a hell of a lot of targets and other information and tends to get up there in the memory usage.

That would be cool thanks if you don't mind providing that, I want to get a forum up so that users can share their experiences, tips and things like this with others, thank you for the offer.

When editing or adding if you select the Advanced option it will prompt you with some extra options before saving the profile, you can add a different comment file using this option.

I have a question/feature request:

Is there any way for me to "Save" a profile and "Load" it on another copy of NoHandSEO? I moved houses and have a new computer. I do not want to recreate the profiles and have duplicate links, because that is bad, right?

Also, Jimbob, because I switched houses I do not want my IP tagged on the old location. What do I need to tell you, information wise, to get that IP erased so I can use it on 2 different machines here?

Just copy over the DATABASE.db3 file from your old computer to the new computers install directory, that will copy over all our profiles and your settings. To remove your old computer just use the contact form on the website tell them your email address and that you want the machine list reset.

okay so far so good i bought NHSEO. its very easy to setup and use. it does have an advance mode for those of you who want to put your own comments and stuff.

i know that in scrape box proxies are very important. looking at nhseo it seems to give me the impression its ok to run without proxies unless you filter page rank. if youre ok with lots of PR 0 and PR 1 stuff i think this is awesome for those without proxies. otherwise ive been running it with some scraped proxies and it seems to work great.

i did notice however that there was a high number of pr 0 and pr 1 stuff. maybe its due to my choice of keywords. im a noob and have only been at this for a few weeks.

does anyone have any tips on improving higher pr posting results using NHSEO?

i also noticed the add target list. i read the pdf file but im not certain if i have to just specify the front page of the blog or each blog specifically? can i also just use the rss feed url for a blog for that list? im also wondering if i could perhaps use scrapebox to harvest relevant urls to add to nhseos target list. and is there a max limit to how many urls can be added? i tried to use a 65k auto approve list and its been hanging for a few minutes.

@ jimbobo can you explain how I can add more footprints? I don't understand the purpose of the other symbols

For getting just higher PR links you can set the PR minimum but as the majority of pages on the internet have a very low PR or none at all this will limit your number of posted links by a huge factor. For regular posting NHSEO absolutely doesn't need proxies however if you are checking PR I would suggest one IP per 2 or 3 profiles or there abouts for extended runs.

For the targets the list should be one page per line no other characters or anything else literally just one page address on each line, RSS feeds are not accepted. You could use scrapebox to get a list of blogs but this is just adding an unecessary step to your process, NHSEO handles all searching so there really is no need to add a list of targets unless they are auto-approve lists or something like that. I just tested adding a list of 75k targets to all profiles and it averaged about 10s per profile, how long is your stuck for?

All you need to do is add them to the list, if you hover over the list it does explain it and how to add them. A space needs to be replaced with a + a " needs to be replaced with %22 and without trying to offend you, if you mess up the list it will totally mess up the searching and if you are unsure what all the bits mean it is probably not such a good idea to be changing it.

What are you trying to accomplish by changing the list? If I know what it is you are trying to do I might be able to help you.

I just want to add more to some foots to increase the number or types of web pages it can crawl.

Hey Jimbob, I have about 20 sites under the same ip address in my hosting account. Will this interfere with my ranking if I use nhs on all 20 sites?

I appreciate you may be busy and I have no idea how to code. So Im not sure if my idea is an easy one to implement.

Would it be possible to have a time and date stamp in the log files? I only ask because I leave it running on a VPS all 24/7 Sometimes I logon to check everything is going ok and I look at the logs and have no way in telling if the app is still running or has hung.

I say this as at times it seems that the number of backlinks produced does not seemed to have risen over 24 hours.

Is there a limit to the number of URLs ? I cannot load a URL txt list but can i just copy and paste say 5k URLs into the box? If i put an 5k AA list into NHSEO, will it equally distribute 1 comment to each URL (assuming i get 100% from the list)?

What settings are you even looking for? ... I barely made any changes from the defaults and it works just fine.

And any news on the "set all settings per profile" feature jimbobo2779? Really excited to use this upcoming feature. This way I do not need to have two instances of NHSEO running on my computer all the time.

Hello again Jimbob, I got one more question. I have a partner thats in india that helps me with my seo for my sites. If I purchased NHS would we both be able to use the one license I purchased to work on different sites since you have extended the license to be used on 2 pc's?

Not if you use different keywords and different anchor texts they should not have any link between them.

It can be used to submit blog comments and trackbacks but you do not need to feed it lists, it does all of the searching and posting for you, you can however add in an auto-approve list if you have one but this is optional.

Next feature update, the next feature update will be v1.5 so it will be then. I can't say for sure when this one will be I'm afraid.
