Anybody using No Hands SEO?

thanks for the updates, now what about new platforms

Just had an email from a blog owner telling me to stop spamming her blog.
To prevent nohandseo trying to post to this blog again do I just add the blog root domain to Block Domains List ? Just want to make sure I get it right.

You're too kind lol. You have to add blog.domain.com, the http://www.domain.com doesn't block other sub domains.

Actually I would just add "domain.com" without the quotes and it will block any web page taht contains domain.com hence blocking all subdomains and pages on that site.

just bought.

i have a suggestion: what about drip-feeding the comments, something like "post x comments per day" and rotate the projects, of course?

by nature of this product it basically is drip feeding i think, since blog comments take a while to find anyway and let's be honest the success rate isn't going to be skyhigh but it'll be enough to be "dripable" plus what your asking for seems to be more "hands on" than "no hands"

Another tip for the users of the app.

To get all the kw from start? Why not use google keyword tool or analytics to find relevant kw for your spamming.

Thanks for the tips mate, things like this are great for people and they really help.

As for the keywords it currently takes the keywords you give it, grabs the keywords from the website to search for but also will extend these keywords based on search engine suggestions meaning it does not just use the keywords you give it, it can turn each keyword into hundreds of unique keywords for searching (depending on keywords entered in). I plan on adding more search engines and websites to take keyword suggestions from and hope to have this increased in two to three weeks.

Hehe, like what? I have recently received an email from someone who suggested guestbooks but they are just so spammed that the links really aren't worth bothering with other than to entice uninformed customers to buy the tool.

I realise people want more platforms but I cannot think of any that would require little setup. I want this tool to stay as simple as possible and at the same time really perfect what it does right now. As it stands there is nothing this simple and I want to keep it that way above all, more platforms will come but not at the expense of improving the functionality that already is in the tool.

I will announce more platforms as I start working on them, in the meantime if you can think of some platforms that you would be interested in please mention them.

This is on the list of jobs to do and should be in in a couple of weeks (maybe next week).

Lanx you are correct again, the only exception is if you are using AA lists in which case you could easily be generating 10-20k links per day to a blog.

Lanx I am very grateful for your help, you seem to know what you are talking about and it is very helpful for me, thank you.

With that said it is update time of the week. I have uploaded v1.3.0 to the No Hands SEO Members Area

Update notes have been, as always, published to the No Hands SEO blog but have been copied below:
â–  Added: Ability to add in your own comments file per profile (optional)
â–  Added: Link Check posts as they are being created
â–  Added: Auto ping option for confirmed links
â–  Fixed: Comments file loading irregularity bug (very uncommon)
â–  Fixed: Bad Words filter pop-up tip is now correct.

The link checking is purely for new posts so will not (currently) go back through previously created posts to see if the link is present. The system records the page submitted to and the link that was submitted to it so a checker for previous posts is entirely possible and will be coming soon. I am trying not to add too much at any one time so everything stays as stable as it is now.

As always if you guys have any issues just post them in here, PM, email, use website contact form or leave a message on the blog.

dude, if i can take the "heat" or the questions of your table and letting you have more time to have these awesome updates, then that's cool.
new update

just click "ping confirmed links" and we should be all gtg?

V1.3.1 has now been uploaded with the update notes published to the No Hands SEO blog

Thank you for your patience. I know 2 updates in as many hours is a lot and could be annoying for some but if a bug is pointed out to me it will get squashed.

Sorry Lanx I hadn't seen your reply, it is very appreciated and it does allow me more time to work without having to check back here every 5 minutes.

So long as you have the check links checkbox ticked you can tick the ping confirmed links and it will post a link and then check the link, if a link is found will ping that link. I know the manual is getting a bit outdated at this point so I am going to spend a couple of days making some videos to show how to perform some simple tasks in the tool that should apply to the majority of users.

Hi Jim,

Looks like you've added some great new features since I last updated - I'll check these out later.

Suggestion: How about Captcha solving that allows users to limit their exposure to failed posts?

A system that used Captcha solving on any site with it enabled could be costly for those using the system so it's probably not that viable on it's own as an on or off option, but how about the option to use Captcha solving based on Pagerank?

For example, if I could tell NHSEO to try and post using Captcha's only on PR6+ it could be a really useful feature and make using Captcha solving on an automated system worth it.

Just an idea.

Tom

Not a bad idea either. I'll definitely have a think about this one

Great point Tom, basically if the tool had logic that discerned the PR of a page, checks your requirements (yes post if page is greater > pr5), and then uses a captcha entry..that would work out great.

What about a parallel process Jim that also operates in tandem with the rest of the submissions and pinging that blocks out a period of time to check the "successful post" table and then runs a check against google if it's indexed or not. If it's NOT indexed, it's mass pinged with the rest of the "not indexed" successully posted links.

This could be run on a once per day, scheduled basis. The pinging feature is great within the program, now the ability for the program to check to see if that link is indexed at some point in the future AND determines if it needs to be pinged again..well, that goes along way :)

How does the link checker work. I see theres a tick box. Where can I see the results ?

I did want the post checking to be run in its own thread but there is a tradeoff in that it would either need to be initiated by the user (a.k.a not exactly hands free) or to run while posting was happening.

The issue with running while posting is happening is that it is an extra thread that is taken away from posting, also single threaded link checking / pinging is painfully slow so it would lag behind the posting greatly. If I had multiple threads dedicated to checking it would severely limit the number of CPU cycles available to the posting threads.

I am going to be adding in a separate link checker as the one that is in, though working, does not fully pick up all links for some reason.

How does the link checker work. I see theres a tick box. Where can I see the results ?

The results are in the log at the minute and also saved to the database.

As it stands there are lots of links slipping through the net as far as link checking goes and not all links are being listed as approved by the tool. I am not fully aware of why this is but rest assured I will get this working and make sure it is working 100% as soon as possible.

Once I get the "standalone" (still within the No Hands SEO application) link checker sorted it will be possible to check all the links made previously, you are not losing any work by posting links now and checking at a later date.

Cheers. Thinking about it, coupled with the backlinks checker this could be a cheap way of discovering auto approve blogs that have good PR (assuming most are protected by some form of Captcha!). Once my NHSEO has found a blog that has a PR6 that auto approves I'm going straight back there to place a few more links to my money site domains.

I think the holy grail would be if it could leave relevant comments to get a higher acceptance rate from moderated blogs... Figure that one out and your sitting on a goldmine.

Perhaps some sort of slow poster mode that looks at the keywords in the article / blog URL and uses new and relevant twitter comments as the blog comment... now that would be special.

idk how this "slow poster" would do on slower machines tho, i mean it seems to tax my quadcore with 20profiles. dang i also wanted to try nhseo on my laptop to see how it'd perform but it's one license per, heh, oh well guess i'll just leave my computer and teamviewer running while i travel for the weekend.

True, but I do think it could add value to the product.

I've had most success from auto blog commenting software in the past by using a trending news story. For example I'd take a sporting event such as a world cup final, search for blogs with something like world+cup+final+2010 in the URL and then leave spun comments that are relevant to the match.

If NHSEO had a mechanism of discoving the topic of the blog and delivering something relevant it would massively increase our chances of sticking links on more valuable webpages.

what like token?

hello! i just found %domainname% and i just read %title%, i agree wholeheartedly with what you said!

that would be cool.

Never heard of that one, thanks!

Yea - that looks like a much simpler way of achieving something relevant. :)

mine is freezing and not restarting, i think its due to a proxy maybe going bad i think, anyways it wont restart and i have to delete my entire database just to get it working again, this is maybe an error to check out OP.

what do you mean by freezing? is the bar moving? you know that bar on the bottom left?, and it just doesn't update?
you got a fast pc? maybe too many profiles and not enough power? idk, lets see.
